Dirty deck and outdoor furniture. Faucets in kitchen, bathroom, and tub need maintenance and lubrication. Not easily operated. Coffee cups to few and too small.

Great hotel. Only complaint was that the check in counter took an extra hour for us to check in and forgot to give us bus passes. Ended up not being a big deal since bus drivers were cool with seeing our card keys and let us not have to pay on buses.

Needs updating bad!

This place needs upgraded so bad! The location is great, and the price is nice, but that’s because it’s so old. If they spent some money and put new, clean things in it they could charge more per night. The space we had was nice and having 2 bathrooms and a kitchen was great, but the couch was old and had cigarette stains on it. The stairs are narrow and the carpet in the whole place is old and stained, our bathtub had stains, and the tile floors were nasty in the corners because of age! It was quiet and the beds were clean and comfortable but if I visited again I wouldn’t stay here until they update things. We also had a large rental vehicle and our assigned parking space had pipes so low we couldn’t park under them and the other space was so narrow we couldn’t get out of the driver door when a car parked next to us. My husband had to crawl through the passenger seat to pull out.

The Chalet that we rented for our big family trip was very clean. We were quite impressed with the daily staff that came to ask if we needed anything, e.g., cleaning, more towels, or otherwise. The free transit tickets to go to Banff, and around the area is amazing! An ultimate bonus when you stay here. The only suggestion that I have would be in regards to the pool facilities. It is mainly a waterslide pool, and hottubs (one indoors, one outdoors) type of facility. It would be much more enjoyable if there was a large swimming pool especially because the week we went (last week of August) it was plus 30 everyday. Too hot to use hottubs. Also, please open the hours up earlier and later so that guests can use the hottubs when it is cooler (in the A.M & P.M.) My oldest daughter also cut her foot at the outdoor hottub and needed antibiotics. Overall, the chalets and transportion tickets are great. Thank you.

I stayed here with my kids for 5 days this summer. The water slides were a hit with my 11 and 7 year old's. My 7 year old loved the PlayZone area, I was surprised how big the play structure was. One improvement would be to have some wifi service down there for the parents. Like the other reviews say, the place is dated but it's a great price and the kids loved it. Taking the bus into town was very easy, we took the bus multiple times. Much easier than trying to find a parking spot. I would stay here again.

Avoid this place

I rarely write reviews, but this stay was so terrible I feel compelled to warn others. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill fast. The room was absolutely filthy and had a horrible smell . The front desk staff was rude, dismissive and had attitudes. No apology, no solution — just pure unprofessionalism. The worst part? When we requested housekeeping to come clean the room, a staff member actually handed me a vacuum cleaner and said, “Do it yourself.” I thought it was a joke at first. It wasn’t. This hotel clearly has no standards for cleanliness or customer service. Save yourself the frustration and stay literally anywhere else. One star is too generous.

All in all, the suite was clean, complete kitchen equipment, helpful daily housekeeping service, quick and pleasant reception and checkout. Occasional welcomed sight of deer in the area. 15 minute ride from downtown. Very clean and comfy bed. It would have been perfect just please clean the toilet inner edges better.

I liked everything about this resort. Clean . Comfy beds, Great waterslides for the kids. BBQs to cook on. Close to downtown Banff. 5 minute transit ride. Hotel provides free bus passes.
