The current Gm should not be a GM. His actions, words and directions to staff were appalling. One of the worst encounters I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Not only did he curse at me but also hung up on me after telling me multiple times “Don’t worry about it” this was in relation to family and other patrons being stuck in the elevator for over 45 min on Christmas Eve and no one knowing what to do. 911 was dialed from inside the elevator rather than hotel staff or the GM. Proper protocol is to rescue then deal with the mechanical issues. What would have happened if there was a medical emergency? The GM was dismissive, condescending, and in no way a benefit to this hotel chain. Staff were apologizing on his behalf! Pathetic and arrogant and has no place in the hospitality industry. Oh and did I mention the other elevator was out of service as well?
