Best Customer Service!

I was blown away by the service! It was one of the BEST hotel experiences I have ever had. Clean, comfortable, helpful staff. I will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel is friendly, quiet and in a great location.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I would highly recommend this hotel. It is in a great location, staff is super friendly (not overly though) and seem to enjoy their job, check-in was quick and efficient. After talking with one of their staff briefly (after being offered hot popcorn and cold water) I was also offered a "bonus" and could choose from 4 options (free parking, free movie, breakfast for two, free internet). This made our stay here even more budget friendly. Rooms were large, comfortable and quiet. I will return to this hotel.

The hotel staff was very helpful.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
We arrived on Canada Day and there were so many activities close to the hotel. The front door person helped us with directions and told us what the best activities were for our family of four. We had the best day. The restaurants in the area were good too.

What a super deal on a super place.

I had never stayed in Calgary before. I knew a Hyatt for under $* per night was a steal, but what a steal. The room was clean and quiet, the restaurant in the hotel was good. The Stephens Avenue walk area adjacenjt to the hotel was a real summertime gem. The hotel is next to a several blocks long pedestrians only street, with lots of shops and restaurants. Very nice in the summer. It is also close to indoor shopping an +15s, for the winter. The hotel is also only 20 minutes from the airport, with only a bit of downtown driving to deal with after you get off the freeway.

Just right.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was recently remodeled and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The only parking is underground and rather expensive. We would recommend the Hyatt and would stay again.

Beautiful Hotel

I was attending a meeting at the Hyatt Regency and I was surprised how beautiful the hotel was. The service was exceptional, everyone so helpful and the food in the Catch restaurant was amazing! Apparently they fly in fresh seafood daily from the coast. The workout room has all the latest equipment with a view of the city and mountains on a clear day. I could have worked out all day. The room was well laid out with large flat screen tv's, brand new beds, and convenient outlets on top of the desk and by my bedside table to plug in my computer and blackberry. It is perfect to not have to crawl under furniture looking for an outlet. This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in Canada and next time I am in Calgary, I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency.

Hyatt in Calgary

We stayed at the Hyatt in Calgary the beginning of September 2008. The facility was beautiful, located very conveniently downtown and right off the main street that is closed to vehicles during the day, so it is very pedestrian (and tourist) friendly. Our room was clean, neat, comfortable - we enjoyed it very much.

No internet access

The hotel overall is good. But you have to pay hefty internet access fee, which is unfriendly for a 4-star hotel. Plus, the construction around the hotel is really problematic.\n\n
