OÙ est le luxe?

AnnoncĂ© comme condo de luxe. Il en est tout autrement. Murs qui s’effritent, moisissures, humiditĂ© extrĂȘme. Les photos soumises ne reprĂ©sentent pas la rĂ©alitĂ©, elles datent de la construction. Pas de draps assez grands, pas de linges Ă  vaisselle, pas de tapis de bain et surtout pas de vue sur la mer. MatĂ©riel de cuisine de base et abĂźmĂ©. PropriĂ©taires avenants, au dĂ©but, mais menaçant par la suite. Je ne recommande pas cette location!

Beautiful beach and pool

We were not told about the construction. It starts at 8 am and goes till 11pm Monday -Saturday . To the point you can’t sit outside on the balcony because of noise and sand. The condo itself was alright. Kitchen equipped enough it cook. Bed comfortable though we bought our own sheets and mattress cover . We don’t sleep on plastic . We also purchased an inexpensive water dispenser and table for it to sit on as the jug with pump was to high for us on the counter and watered the floor . Good sheets and water dispenser are two things that should have been here Also furniture was not as pictured. The couch is also a futon bed which we found uncomfortable to sit on. I know this may sound picky but when it’s advertised as luxury and that’s the price you pay , it should be nicer than it was.

Auquos Flamingo unit

Very comfortable unit with great open balconies facing the ocean. Only drawback was a construction site next property over. Very secure setting with helpful staff. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. Washer and dryer in the unit very helpful for our group of 8 people. Unit has been updated and nicely furnished and allowed us to dine in instead of going out all the time. The property’s grounds are beautiful with two pools, one of which is on the beach. The weather was perfect and overall made for a great holiday stay.

Nice condo with a responsive owner

I enjoyed the stay in the condo. The condo was clean when I arrived and was equipped with plenty of dishes, glasses and cooking utensils. The location is within an easy walk of both the Mega grocery store and the town of Bucerias where there is a nice market and a lot of fabulous restaurants. There were a few minor concerns during my stay (hot water tank pilot went out and dryer belt needed to be changed) and the owner was very prompt to have them addressed.

Beautiful quiet place

I would give this complex 5 stars, the reason I'm giving 4 stars is two fold. Firstly that the kitchen is missing some stuff, Plastic glasses for drinks at the pool would be nice, (not plastic coffee mugs), a cutting board. We didn't cook in much, but that is partially due to the fact that there is only a stove top and microwave for cooking! A grill on the deck would be a great asset for this condo. I am by NO means a chef or great cook for that matter, but I found it frustrating to not have a cutting board available. Secondly the check in process could use some ironing out. We paid in full and I had to call/email Luis a few times to get information from him a few days before our arrival. It was stressful from my end, as I speak very little spanish. He did sent me an email with the name of the complex and the apartment number. BUT when we arrived there is a security gate with staff that we needed to get through. They had no idea who we were, and had no information on our arrival ( neither did I). My phone didn't work, but thankfully the employee at the gate used his phone to call Louis, they let us in and there was Maria to show us around. Erica called us while she was there and answered all of our questions. We had troubles with the internet while we were there. Luis was quick to respond, but I ended up being the middle man getting it fixed. It would be nice if there was a property manager to do this, as with my phone not working well and me not speaking spanish, it likely took longer than it should have to fix. With that being said I would stay here again in a heart beat, But I would know to ask more questions for check in/check out. A very nice complex, quit yet close to everything!

Good place for families

Very nice apartment in close proximity to long beach. Large, quiet pool area with lots of space and views on the sea. Quiet environment ideal to relax and enjoy sun, beach and sea!
