The room and amenities were great, clean and operable in every way. The housekeeping and front desk staff were fabulous and cheerful and helpful. Their floor manager however lacks basic decency and communication skills. My kids and I slept in and missed check out time but enjoyed the stay so much we planned to extend the room, I went to the front desk and discussed options with the staff member who suggested I call Expedia to see if there was any assistance offered in our goal, so I exited the building to walk my dog while calling. My phone needed charge so I went to my vehicle to call when my kids called saying they were being threatened with police if they don’t leave right now. Immediately after I get a phone call from said manager accusing me of ignoring her staffs requests for me to vacate the room - when I corrected her in advising nobody’s asked me to leave she asked me to call support of the website I used for booking and that’s what I was doing what is the issue and all of the sudden the problem was the “condition of the room” my children were sleeping on the bed with a mountain of clean clothes we’d just washed and I was making use of the amenities in room by cooking them a proper supper which was a luxury for us at the time. The room looked like people were actually living - which apparently offended her. She advised me she added me to some power trippy do not rent list and I ended the conversation and collected my children belongings and spent my money elsewhere
