Book a hotel near Olympic Cauldron, Downtown Vancouver

"We had a recently renovated room (18th floor) which was nice but the AC/Heating was loud when turning on. We also had wifi issues. But the bar and restaurant staff were exceptional. We would stay here again."

"We had a beautiful view of the harbor from our room that had high tech and high end amenities. A special shoutout to the terrific young lady (in-training) at check in. Great representative for your hotel! Enjoyed our stay."

"A great place to stay especially if you are going on a cruise. The amenities are good. The gym was large. They have a newly renovated spa. All the toiletries were nice. Sushi was good and a nice place to sit and people watch."

"Hotels in Vancouver are expensive anyway and differ from the US in that they don't offer things like shuttles to and from the airports, complimentary coffee in the lobby or any breakfast to balance the high cost. Bypassing those courtesies, my only riff with this hotel was the disruptions by the staff when I had the do not disturb sign on my door. On three separate occasions they attempted to enter my room while I had the do not disturb tag hanging on my door. One occasion it happened while I was on a conference call and I had to pause my meeting to tell the cleaning person to go away. Another occasion I was getting out of the shower when I heard a knocking and attempted entry. I was standing in a robe pointing to the do not disturb tag on the door asking why she was knocking. She just smiled and said OK sorry and left. The last occasion the maintenence guy wanted in my room while I was working and the do not disturb tag was hanging, just so he could change an air filter. This was a problem. I couldn't understand why they didn't respect the do not disturb sign. Very frustrating and annoying. Next time I'll forego the boutique hotel experience and stick with a Marriott."
