The room was a motel not a hotel which was presented and advertised. I was kind of caught off guard approaching the neighborhood as I watched it declined the closer I got. The fridge in my room did not work. The coffee machine in my room did not work. They provided two bottles of water that is it no refills. This “hotel” offered no housekeeping, or someone to bring new towels etc upon going to the front desk to ask why housekeeping didn’t come to bring any towels I was informed that you have to put a request 24 hours ahead of time for your room to be cleaned and then you’re also charge for that. I have never heard of that and I have stayed at nice hotels in my lifetime. This motel wouldn’t even be worth a cleaning fee so I was absolutely appalled with that. Then we wanted to extend our checkout time which we were told would be $60. Front decks charged us $100 could not inform us why we were charged $100 and just told us we had to wait for the money to go back to the cardwhich by the way still has not happened.. Also, I was followed around by the maintenance man from the moment I checked into the hotel, he kept asking if I’m smoking as if I am a child. I ended up having to report him to the manager, which I will say they handled well as he was overstepping his job description for one and harassing guest. Very nice pool tho ! my son enjoyed that part. must say it was beautiful. The water is heated. Other than the pool, I would not recommend

Very clean room & the facilities were spotless. Visiting from New York, the Pool was Heated which was Great. Excellent Housekeeping, staff was Couteous & Attentive. From Coffee to Clean towels, everthing was accessible. I was also able to get tickets for Universal studios at the front desk. The shuttle was available at varying times. Staff was also readily available to provide support when i needed it. Coffee maker & Refrigerator were available in the room. I was able to Heat my own food. Thanks to Janice at the front desk who was so Professional & helpful. I would definitely recommend Avanti to my friends & Family. Escaping the Cold weather in New York, i will come again next Winter.

The room was without heat, on a VERY COLD night, and the staff was HORRIBLE!! They did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. I will NEVER stay at this LOW BUDGET hotel again and I would advise others to not stay here either.

The room felt very "traveled," the fake wood floor made it cold and noisy, bathroom toilet had used toilet paper in it unflushed. The front desk staff was not knowledgeable of the hotel layout and sent me scrambling to try and find my room. The hotel honestly felt like it used to be a top destination but has fallen on hard times and has never updated to try and be relevant again.

The room & hotel were very old, the only thing updated was the lobby & the pool. The rooms were so poorly made, you could hear every word of the conversations in the rooms on either side of our room, in addition to that noise you could hear the sounds of traffic. The traffic sounds were as though you were standing on the freeway. I turned on the AC fan just to try and muffle the sounds of the freeway and people in other rooms & outside our room. What’s worse is that they charge $50 resort fees for each day for a motel 6 experience. The pool looked nice, if you enjoy looking at the freeway traffic. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Go to Howard Johnson express and at least get quieter, updated rooms, with free breakfast!

The room looked very dated. I originally booked a room with a king size bed and I received a 2 queen size bed room. I asked for the correct room and the front desk staff said sometimes when booked through third party apps such as hotels.com they can’t guarantee the room I requested is truly available. You have to request room service 24 hours in advance otherwise your room won’t be cleaned. Overall the space didn’t feel cozy.

The beds were stiff the pillows were hard. The walls were thin you can hear everything outside ; people were talking so loud outside at 2 am or 4 am all night making it hard to sleep and the toilet was running . But other than that it was an okay stay
