The room was clean and adequate. The closet was just a coat rack but there was a double sink so plenty of room to wash up and get ready. Beds were clean and comfortable. There are not enough good things to say about The Reef. The tropical tiki drink menu is extensive and has a very inviting atmosphere. The bar staff is very friendly. I’m very picky of Mai tais and there’s was perfection. I also had chips and salsa (salsa was spicy but not overly so). The blue cheese burger was phenomenal and the accompanying fries were perfectly done. Will definitely make this a stop every time I go to Palm Springs. I would also stay at the hotel again as it is centrally located.

Rooms were clean and we appreciated the 60-70's island tropics vibe. Only issue was the hot water. Sometimes hot water in the shower would go away. Some friends in another room had to relocate because the handle wouldn't turn properly for hot water. Ours was also kinda wonky and old where it seemed like you were going to yank it out of the wall just to turn it on.

I love staying here - it is very old school Tiki Palm Springs! The rooms are comfortable and clean, although could use some updating. The restaurants and bars have great selections and the staff is helpful. Small but practical fitness center. It would be nice if the breakfast restaurant would open at 8 every day instead of just on weekends.

Dated, and only getting older. Shower handle was falling off and hard to operate. Beds were unstable and very very noisy. Only 2 towels in the room… pool towels are located where? The office was closed most of my stay. Furniture generally in horrible shape, stains and bad smells. Wasted space everywhere, room 103 is an example of a horrible layout. Could use a FULL overhaul of each room. The pool and hot tub are great, as are the grounds and character in general… but the rooms are becoming unusable and should not be rented.
