The yard offers tranquility and relaxation in a lovely setting. A beautiful pool is surrounded by tall palm trees, gorgeous mountain views and is very private. Additional outdoor amenities are a BBQ grill and several seating areas, including one with a fire pit. Located in the famous Movie Colony, you are within walking distance from downtown Palm Springs, where you will discover downtown shopping, Ruth Hardy Park, art galleries, the Palm Springs Art Museum, and many fine restaurants. A serene and beautiful place in the desert awaits you, only 5 minutes by taxi from the airport.

Wonderful Place to Stay
This is our second time staying at the Lima House and we love everything about it. The location, views, pool and comforts are so lovely and Francie is fantastic to work with and very accommodating. We’ve already booked again!. Can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful house in perfect location
House is thoughtfully decorated and well stocked. Kitchen was easy to cook in, thanks to so many items I have at home that are often lacking in rentals. Beds comfortable. Backyard spaces provided many options for enjoying the sunshine. Definitely one of best rentals we’ve stayed in over past 30 years. Also we were charged for house and didn’t have to pay extra for my brother to join us for a couple of days- not always the case! Highly recommend

Comfortable-ish stay with things to consider
Our group was eagerly excited to enjoy some sun during the middle of the PNW winter. Less than 48 hours before check-in, I received a hard to follow email asking to fill out Good Neighbor form, which I recommend reviewing before planning your trip to Palm Springs giving better planning info, as it may not be great for a girl’s trip or bachelorette party. We had several back-and-forth emails, as the form sent to me was password protected and I had to creatively complete. When I then received an email day of check-in that it wasn’t filled out correctly, I had to scramble to find a way to send the form back. When we did arrive, we found a copy of the form printed out, pre-filled out, which was really disheartening given the back-and-forth I had been through. Unfortunately, upon arriving we realized the pool was too cold to comfortably use. I willingly accepted and paid the charges to heat the pool and charge to have the pool guy come out and turn it on. However, due to an issue, a heated pool was not an option during our stay. Francie did refund it, but I was frustrated by how many times I had to follow up on the issue and ask for the refund. Overall, we had a nice trip, however all these issues compounded on each other, it didn't exactly feel like a vacation and felt more like a work project. Our experience would have been elevated with more considerate and proactive communication about the required forms and rules as well as just how cold the pool was going to be.

Great location
From arrival to departure this was wonderful. Home met all of our needs. Great View to the mountains. Easy to get to downtown and to hiking. Very comfortable and set up to cook and eat at home if desired. Quiet location and easy walk to park and movie colony. Access to main roads very easy. Recommend this place to anyone.

Perfect accommodations!
We are two couples in Palm Springs for a family wedding at The Parker. We could not have asked for a better stay. Lima Modern is clean, comfortable, super cute and perfect for two couples. The entire home was well equipped. Nothing more needed whatsoever. We cooked, swam, enjoyed the outdoor and indoor living spaces immensley, and the location could not have been more convenient! Quiet, relaxing but close to everything. Thank you Francie and Gordon for a perfect stay!

Fabulous Palm Springs
Palm Springs (PS) didn’t disappoint after many years of wanting to experience it first hand. And this accommodation was perfect for us - the best mix of modern and mid century styling, brilliantly equipped, off road parking and the place is near retail and PS airport. The location heat literally takes your breath away and we were so glad to have the pool and the outside space - we made full use of both! The host was excellent too - so informative and helpful before our stay and speedily responsive during it. We timed our stay slightly wrong for the local activity as this mostly occurs Thursday through Sunday (Art Gallery, Artisan markets) and the Aerial Ride was closed for private hire when we were there but that was our bad planning. So go! Don’t underestimate the heat and do trust this house description - we are already discussing when we might return! Loved it 💖

Third time at Lima Modern
And it did not disappoint. We love this place. It has all you need if you want stay in and relax by the amazing pool, or as a starting point to explore all the wonders of the Coachella Valley, High Desert, and Joshua Tree. And Francie and her crew are absolutely first rate. We will come again, we are sure of it.

Weekend getaway
We really enjoyed our time at Lima Modern. The host was very responsive when we arrived Thursday afternoon to a dirty pool. It was good to go by early Friday morning. Great property in a convenient area of town. If you have never been to Palm Springs make sure you check out the noise ordinance information for private rentals before you book. Overall a fantastic experience.
