Great location! The room was very tired looking. Did not resemble photos on internet which were probably taken many years ago. The housekeeping was great. Fresh towels every day.

The hotel is perfect for what we needed and it checked all the boxes for our first Paris trip! Beautiful hotel and lovely people at the front desk. It was steps away from the Metro and walkable to the major tourist sites. We will be back!

The hotel service was of a very high standard, on par with 5-star hotels. They let us check-in very early, though I don't want to pitch that as a guaranteed experience for other travelers; it was our experience though and we'll received by a tired family. They also provided a bunch of accessories for travelling families like a bottle warmer, potty, and bath seat. Unfortunately, the mindfully small room was made even smaller by the child cot. I booked a room with a double sofa bed for my child, but seeing that there was little to no physical way to actually use that bed in a room of this size, we settled for our kid using the cot. Again, there was a dilemma between great service and the room's ability to match this. The hotel gave us a room with a bath, which is far easier for a child than a shower - much appreciated. Unfortunately, the bath was small, both in length and width. It was challenging for a grown adult to use, whether sitting or standing. Standing, you have the narrow surface area that means you have to stand with your feet together, which is uncomfortable. Basically, the bath and bathroom are tiny. Overall, it feels that the hotel wants to deliver something that the rooms aren't physically capable of.

The room was so small we didn’t have room for our luggage. I’ve stayed in countless hotels, but never one this small. The cost was too high for such a small room. It was a little over 1400.00 for three nights. Leon the desk clerk was absolutely the best thing in our stay! He was very acknowledged and went to the extreme in helping us

Eight steps (stairs) to our room and a very small bathroom. Allow me to elaborate. Eight stairs doesn’t seem like much, but when each of your luggage weighs 25 kgs, (55 lbs), it will stand out and you will remember them. Fortunately there are only 4 rooms at the hotel on the half floor, so you may not have this issue. If you are over 200 lbs, you will also remember the bathroom. Smaller than my half-bath in the US, the tub was narrow as well. I expected more from my hotel at 500/night. Something else to keep in mind is that the hotel is across the street from two popular bars, so it can be noisy at night. Fortunately for us it came un handy for a quick drink since the hotel does not have a bar. We were disappointed with the freeze dried coffee inside the room. Very subpar for Paris. You will need to heat your own water with a kettle they provide you on limited counter space. On a positive note, this hotel is centrally located and we wanted a queen/king sized bed and it was comfortable. Plus there was a nice boulanger around the corner that has excellent pastries and real coffee. This checked all the boxes for me when I booked this place. I just didn’t expect a homeless man below our window. So to sum it all up, I personally would not recommend this hotel. 2.5 stars

The Britannique was lovely and quaint and every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit small (to be expected in Paris) but clean. The only negative feedback was not necessarily tied directly to the hotel but pertained to the ever-present homeless population around and sleeping in front of the hotel.

Very convenient area in Paris. A quaint hotel in the heart of Paris. Great for night walks along the river, visiting the Louvre, and close to tons of shops and restaurants. Room was small, but cozy.
