The Boulders is an older resort, but well maintained in a great setting. Conveniently located with a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the restaurant, bar & main pool. The staff in all locations was always very friendly & helpful.

At $750 per night, the Boulders promised to be an upscale spa retreat weekend for us. What we actually received was two nights at an average Hilton, inconveniently located miles away from any restaurants, outdated in decor, and just like every Hilton, staffed with people who don’t care about your experience. The best part is waking up at 5a to staff power washing the sidewalks, and having an incompetent manager inform you that “that’s when we clean the property”. Save your money or book at an actual desert retreat.

The grounds are beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Very peaceful vacation. I think the room was a little dated as well as the pool. The resort is a good 20 miles from Old Town if that’s where you want to spend your time.
