The airport shuttle was great. The hotel was icky. Not worth $200.

I knew it was a Howard Johnson, not a Marriott, but I still expected some sort of a clean, fresh feel. They ironically have a sign on the wall saying “Howard Johnson’s makes an overnight stay into a vacation,” boy is that inapplicable here. Putting up a new headboard, new artwork, and a pretty teal bed cover just cannot cover up the rusty sink, musty smell, and holes in the wall. I read the reviews and knew it wasn’t going to be luxury, but I thought it would be nice. It wasn’t. My home is cleaner. A hostel would be cleaner and cheaper. Go somewhere else.

The room needed upgraded. old fixtures, carpet, blinds etc. we only stayed one night so it served our purpose.
