Incredible stay at the Governor's. The warm welcome, the room was beautiful, spacious and clean. You can really see that the staff loves their job. We ate at the restaurant, food was good, again staff so lovely!

We’ve frequently stayed at the Governor’s Inn. Room furniture and fixtures are a bit dated, but that’s the charm. The property is older, and every room has its quirks. Staff are friendly and there’s a restaurant and bar on the main floor.

Cheap bed but not too uncomfortable. Cheapest furniture—iron frame, fabric drawers, wobbly lamps, no easy chair; only the “desk” chair. Better chairs in hall. Lobby, practically bare with old chairs with questionable legs. Their attached club must bring in money to run the place. That they have loud, booming noise from right under your windows till it closes isn’t disclosed. It was a place to sleep and get out. Breakfast was Continental style and OK. We ordered pizza delivery instead of trying their restaurant.
