Our room was not the best. We had street view without a balcony, the bathroom shower didnt drain properly, and their wasn't a clothes line in the shower, so we had to hang our wet clothes on the back of a chair. Nolberto the bellhop, Gloria dining manager, Jorge and Fausto the pool guys were all AWESOME and made the stay enjoyable, so much so that we could iverlook the minor issues. However check out they said was 11:00 but the confirmation email stated it was 12:00.

Stuff was freindlyand the rooms are clean as well as the hotel. But the food is awful. You use to be able to check out and stay at pool tell your late flight now they want to charge you

This was a good place to stay, we got the honeymoon suite with the hot tub or (jacuzzi tub) in it and it was comfortable and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful, super easy beach access and our room had a view of the pools, beach and ocean which was beautiful. The spa experience was also wonderful, I had the hot stone massage and it was the best massage I have ever had, so high reviews on that one. The food was great, the selection was nice, I was surprised by how good it was. On the Thursday night we were there and maybe every Thursday they had a Mexican night and brought in Mariachis, and dancers, it was great. Lot of fun, I would definingly recommend it!

Hotel was nice but bathroom outlet didn’t work, phone didn’t work, bathroom tank ran all day and night, tv voice went in and out and then picture would freeze. Didn’t report until we left because when we arrived, we had already checked in and out all our things away and it was extremely hot and we didn’t want to have to move everything if they even offered us a different room. They didn’t even offer a small refund even though they charged me an extra $1100 dollars to add my husband to the room because they said I only reserved for one person through Expedia even though I am positive I entered two guests. Won’t be going back to this hotel

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was so warm and friendly. It was a short walk to the Malecon and there were numerous restaurants and shops nearby. My only complaint is that the showers in the resort lack a pressure balancing valve, so the temperature extremes made taking a shower a challenge.

Overall great experience. Service was incredible everyone was nice and attentive. Food was good. Rooms were good. Beach was nice. Location was excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Maybe only the gym can use improvement so if you don’t care for that then you’re set!

We really enjoyed this resort. The customer service cannot be beat. The entire staff is extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and hardworking — they’re amazing!! The food at the buffet was some of the best I’ve had at any resort. Though, maybe not so much their one reservation-based restaurant — at least, not for this vegetarian. Overall, an awesome resort in a great location! 4.8 stars all day long. I’m ready to go back!

Great stay at Buena Ventura Grand!! The staff is super professional, friendly, catered to our every need!! Miguel amd Victor are amazing attentive bartenders! Knew exactly what we were drinking as soon as we sat down at the bar! Jimmi server in the buffet was the best! Took excellent care of us! Property is super clean. Rooms are nice and comfortable.. will stay here again in the near future..

Nothing WOW, but still a very good stay. Very clean and good service. I would prefer a bit softer beds, an more choose at mini bare. But I would still recommend as a good place for family time.
