Unable to get the honeymoon suite that we booked 6 months ago. They showed us various rooms trying to pass them off as the honeymoon suite. We didnt get reimbursed and they had no reason why ir wasn't available. We ended up with a room with an ocean view, however it was not what we paid for. Also the food here is unpalatable. Their main buffet is outside so bees and other bugs swarm the food Yogurt and sauces are uncovered . I was sick several times. Getting reservations at the restaurants are nearly impossible. You have a 15 minute window online and it crashes or doesn't show all the restaurants available.They never look busy, we once saw only 2 couples in one, yet they turn people away if there is no reservations. The building is also dirty, looks like mold in the jacuzzi and shower area, the water pressure is non existent. Overall, i would not recommend.

AC didn’t work & when we brought it to their attention they were very condescending. Pretending to write it down & looking bothered when we asked for a status update. The only solution was for us to check out by 10 am & wait for another room at 3 pm with nowhere to go in the meantime. Come to find out everyone was complaining about the AC! Also drinks were watered down & micheladas had no beer in them, just tomato juice & spices. The pool was nice, but had to get up at 6 am to get a bed with shade. Then a lady came and took it when we walked away to the restroom. 1/10 would not recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Crown Paradise Golden. We loved all of the food options, from the large selection at the buffet, to the convenience of the snack bars, to the very good restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had originally requested a room with two beds because it was my daughter and I. We did not get the requested room, but the king sized bed worked fine for us. All of the staff members we saw and interacted with were exceptionally nice and I was impressed by how hard they all worked to make our stay enjoyable.

When you are staying at a new to you hotel things can be "overlooked" when the staff is friendly and inviting. We had to wait in line multiple times to get our room key. Once in the room it was very apparent that the air conditioning was not working. The temperature in the room was registering at 33°C (91.4°F). We reported this to the front desk immediately. We were told maintenance would be up to fix it. Since we had a planned excursion for the evening, we left with confidence that we would return to a cool room. However, that was not the case. With a total of 6 hours and 3 complaints later we were moved to another room. When the hotel manager (Carlos) was called in to address the issue, he did not acknowledge us at all, there was no apology for any inconvenience or a sense that the matter should be expedited. The new room while cooler, was not what would be expected for a hotel in Mexico. The staff in general was not friendly, no "bueno dias" when leaving or entering the front doors of the hotel. The wait staff in the Bellavista restaurant (the hotel buffet) seemed off put when taking drink orders, which had to be ordered multiple times, as the original order seemed to be "forgotten". The property itself was littered with trash that was never picked up. Empty cups and cans around the pool area and beach that were not picked up our entire stay, even in the walkway outside our room, where housekeeping was daily. I will NOT stay again or EVER recommend.
