At first we thought “uh oh! This isn’t good.” But we upgraded to an ocean front room (thought I had picked that room with my reservation). Much better except for the big dip in the middle of the king bed. Food was better most evenings at the sister restaurant on the kids side. Lots of booze, nice cabanas, great ocean. $15 taxi to downtown fun. Still not sure if we’d go back. Love PV!!!

The room was in physical decline ! We had trouble with communication from the time of our arrival. Ceiling in bathroom was leaking! Front door had large gap, privacy was compromised. Toilet was stopped up. When addressed with the front desk. Little to no action was taken. We left the property early, due to these and other problems, I believe that the pictures on your website are misleading and a false representation of this property. Please have a customer service individual contact me : 602-390-7368, at their earliest opportunity. I couldn't even stand completely up in the bathtub-shower. Beach was nice; property old and in need of service.

Room was old and battered. No handles on some drawers. Overhead light would flash at one setting rather than stay lit. One lamp was crooked. The door to the patio was hard and noisy to open. Bathroom had a very old fashioned short toilet. No place to hang bathing suits to dry. On high setting, the hair dryer smelled like it was burning. Sink leaked and took 3 days to fix. CNN was the only English speaking TV station. Roku and Firestick would not connect. Staff and buffet were great. Pool had insufficient seating and umbrellas. Jacuzzi jets did not operate. Onsite restaurants were mediocre. Eighty percent geriatric crowd.

Thw oceanfront room was great. to go to the beach or pool, you had to put towels on the shaded beds & chairs before 7 am- often beds sat empty for hours. Food was mediocre at best. could inky make reservations from 9 to 12 for restaurants but usually booked by 9:05 am. lots of choice of drinks. staff service was great. they tried to charge $1000 pesos extra on checkout with no invoice, explanation or notification.

The staff was amazing! The food was not great, the rooms were very dated and not nearly what they look like in the pictures. There was construction happening on our floor and we were walked into 3 days in a row without a knock to let us know that someone was coming in and they were doing this early in the mornings. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel. The staff was great in so many ways and that is where I feel bad for not wanting to return but the lack of feeling like I have privacy and ability to take a shower without the worry of someone walking in or having to lock the door at all times is unacceptable. This was not a cheap hotel and the lack of consideration for the guests was crazy. The way the reservations are also set up is wild. If you want to do anything on the resort you have to wake up early on your vacation and hope that you can get into the restaurants or get a spot at the pool or beach. There is also almost no options for breakfast or lunch on site. Hectors cafe up the road - 10/10 for food, service and coffee! Would go back to this area of town, would never stay there again.

This hotel should be rated a 3.0. It is run down and needs an upgrade. Staff was great, but the biggest issue is the poor management around "Security", or lack of it. While we were there a huge fist fight occurred with the police finally assisting, over indulgence of alcohol resulting in many confrontations around the pool area, and people who are not registered as guests just go and utilize the pool area, etc. This hotel is in a great location, but the lack of rule enforcement and overserving of alcohol resulted in a very unpleasant stay. We will not be returning to this resort.

Have been here many times. The oceanfront room is beautiful, but even the higher floor ( floor 6) didn’t help the noise with the 3 beach weddings and a party that lasted until 1-2 am.
