Pool is small. There was something in the pool that looked odd and some sort of wire hanging out in pool, but staff maintenance had it fixed. We had to let maintenance staff know a few times about the odd floaties in the pool. Breakfast was okay. Lunches and suppers not. They continually ran out of white wine and at times red. The drinks from the bar were very watered down. Tv didn’t work in our room, only watched minimal. Cleaning staff were fine, they tried to accommodate. On a different note, staff tried hard to please. This is a management t issue, not the staff. This is not a 4 star.

Staff worked hard and this review feels like "punching down" but if 1 person avoids here (or better yet, management changes things as a result so people don't have to avoid), it's worth it. Not enough cooking staff to distribute food (ex: burgers were served by only 1 person to guests 1 at a time, same chef put fixings on each burger 1 at a time, then after all 13 people had a burger, then that same chef took plates 1 by 1 and put other food on the plates). So inefficient!!! Meal times took far too long and often were 15-30 minutes late starting to begin with. Too often, no one behind the bar to serve during the day until 3-4 people were lined up waiting. Absolutely ZERO soundproofing in the hotel rooms; you WILL be woken up at 6:00 am whether you want to or not by just normal volume conversation. Regular volume discussions by the pool area feel like they're broadcast directly into your room. Gym is unusable regardless of what their ad says. Extra room keys are unavailable. Room is ok (a/c works, bathroom and bed are fine) and you won't starve, though not once did we finish a meal and say, "wow, that was delicious!" The pool area is good enough; don't have to get up at 6:00 am for a chair, although we could've as we were awake. Marina area and the restaurants around are great (we used them often to avoid the disappointment of the hotel restaurant). It's a 3ish star so expectations should be low, but they shouldn't have to be a tripping hazard in hell. Very disappointed!

Room was very clean. Staff at desk courteous. Slow check in process. We thought breakfast was included and it was not. Our room was up a steep flight of stairs with no handrail. Not safe for many guests.

A very quaint clean basic hotel. Love the authentic Mexican feel…. Art , furniture, layout. Very friendly staff. It has been a long time since I have had a hotel room without a coffee maker!!!! Nice large walk in shower. Well kept gardens around the pool were very inviting.

Clean hotel, front desk Rubí was very helpful and courteous, Ruby the girl selling coffee in a cart next to the restaurant was a sunshine and a great employee, offering coffee and pastries in the morning.. this hotel feels like home to me. Mind you the pool could be warmed up.
