My experience with the whole group, staff was great. I want to mention special kudos to Mario manager on duty most of the time when I needed to certain things as I travel quite a bit, he came through every time and can't thank him enough for the personalized service, but I will say the rest of the staff was great to me as well all in all the very Surprisingly great experience

Many people in our group were vegetarian and there were no options in the restaurant menus. Also, the resort advertises 7 restaurants, but only a few are open each day. We had a hard time finding good food for vegetarians.

I’ve been to Mexico a lot of times and l would always book an all inclusive package because of what the resorts have to offer. While our stay didn’t start off smoothly, it ended on a high note because of Mario, the Hotel Duty Manager at Fiesta Americana. Due to an issue with water on the floor, we had to switch rooms multiple times, which was understandably frustrating. However, Mario stepped in and completely changed the tone of our experience. He was attentive, calm, professional, and genuinely empathetic. He listened, took ownership, and made sure the situation was handled with care and urgency. What could have been a negative experience was transformed into a positive one because of his leadership and commitment to guest satisfaction. Mario made us feel valued, heard, and appreciated—and most importantly, confident that Fiesta Americana stands behind its guests. Because of Mario, we would absolutely return and recommend this resort. Service like his is what truly sets a property apart. Thank you, Mario, for turning things around and making our stay memorable for all the right reasons.

Limited dining, and when I did eat, the food was subpar. I did not have a single good meal in 3 days. It seemed they used the cheapest food available. I wish there were a Pizza stand. Check-in took almost 15 minutes. Check-out took about the same. When I got to my room, the a/c was not cooling sufficiently. I reported this to the front desk, and it was repaired quickly.

The staff was very nice however I did not appreciate maintenance storming into my room with their own key card and not knocking either, to greet me in my underwear and bra. Hoping that being 72 it damaged his eyes for life.:) I did not appreciate watching my specially made dish being brought and place on 3 different tables in front of 3 different breathing on it people before being brought to me. Otherwise normal average food not over the top and not consistent or made the same way each day. Will never go back! Some venues were closed ( games room and commercial market store) and the restaurants are not open every night they rotate them.

This was a horrible experience and hands down the worst resort I have ever stayed at. Fiesta Americana in Puerto Vallarta is dirty, outdated, and extremely poorly maintained. There was a couch left in a main walkway with worn, torn cushions and exposed padding. Our first room had a jacuzzi on the balcony that was filthy with a visible grease ring inside. The closet door would not stay shut, there was barely any hot water anywhere in the room, and all water fixtures throughout the room were loose, splashy, outdated, and barely functional. We documented everything with photos and brought our concerns to management, who moved us to another room. Unfortunately, the second room was even worse. When we tried to use the bathtub, brown water came out of the faucet, and after draining it, the tub leaked water directly into the sleeping area. The gym is a complete joke! Nearly all machines are broken and unusable, forcing us to leave the resort daily and pay out of pocket for another gym as well as for transportation. The food is also a disappointment, with only one tiny buffet for the entire resort, leading to ridiculous wait times STANDING just to get in, and an extremely limited selection consisting mostly of fruits and vegetables prepared in different ways. This place is absolutely not worth the money, and I would not recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy.

Hotel does not have a business center computer available for guest use. I had an issue with my phone and needed to access my email to receive a code. Not one computer available due to staff member. Muchos aspectos están bien. Pero hay cosas donde deberían mejorar mucho: el restaurant en el buffette continuamente se quedaba sin comida y tardaban mucho en volver a servir los platillos. En la cafetería, continuamente se quedaban sin insumos. En el room service, tardaban hasta 24 horas en llevarse los platillos sucios, los dejaban afuera del cuarto y aunque 2 veces les pedimos que pasaran por ellos, ahí se quedaban. En la playa no hay control en las palapas, se queda mucha gente que no es huésped del hotel haciendo muy difícil encontrar palapas disponibles. En general está bien el hotel, pero le faltan muchas cosas para ser 5 estrellas.
