Very clean and we were comfortable and we were able to see quite a bit by just walking. A bit of stairs, which was not a worry here, but simply for planning purposes.

The apartment itself is clean and bright! The bed is comfortable and the host included a sound machine. The carpet in the hallway needs replacing and the stairs are steep so if you have mobility issues, I'd recommend making sure you're not on the top floor. While we had no problem with the apartment, prospective renters should know what the bedroom is directly opposite a barcade which was fairly noisy until about 3:00 - 4:00 AM. We also had some confusion about parking. The listing says there is "on-site" parking, but you actually have to park 1-2 blocks away in an open parking lot or parking garage. Both are reasonably priced for location and secure. Our host was very communicative and supportive in securing parking and answering any other questions we had. The location is very convenient. There are some great coffee shops nearby. Just down the street, Nektar makes a great cappuccino and matcha latte and a really delicious almandine. If you walk a little further, (3-4 blocks), my favorite cafe was Ma Station. There, we had the best cappuccino and a delicious dirty chai late, and breakfast croissant. Right underneath the apartment is a saussiserie with local wines, ciders and beers and knowledgeable, friendly staff. If you like beer, Korigan and Noctem are nearby. Noctem was our favorite but Korigan has some really neat, unusual flavors. The location is definitely a high point of the apartment in addition to its cleanliness and comfy bed.

The host was lovely and answered really fast. The appartement could have been cleaner (ex: dirty microwave, bathroom). The bed was really comfortable and the AC was super cold which was great. The apartment is right in front of a busy bar so it was very noisy during the night, but otherwise very calm. It is situated 30 min walking distance from every touristic attraction. For us, it was not an issue but worth noting.
