We have used this facility in the past. It's convenient. That's pretty well sums it up. Most times the rooms rented out are the ones no one wants. Noisy room next to the elevators. Upon checking-in I asked the clerk at the from desk to insure the room was not located near an elevator. Big smiles and a big " I HOPE NOT" was the response. Totally unacceptable. Needless to say it was a sleepless night in Quebec city as the elevator ran all night. Never staying at this place again.

staying at the " Canadian Olympic Village "

Pros: You are staying in student dorms they do provide bedding and towels or bring your own Bathrooms spotless, TV in lobby with ice machines.
Cons: just bring a fan for room TV, pool table, ping pong, vending machines, nice couches in lobby.
Location: Close enough to action Drive 10 mins. to downtown or brisk walk 50 mins
This was a great find, very reasonable, clean, safe, convenient, parking, bus available on campus, (get bus tix inside student union building) student union building right there with a cafe and shops of all kinds. Just bring a fan for the room. There were folks from all over the globe enjoying the Residences. Bring a bike and a lock to get around or skateboard. Its about an hour +- walk to Old Quebec City area but beautiful and scenic. I would recommend highly

Great Price, terrible conditions...very dirty

Pros: The hotel/dorm was near bus stations, very very inexpensive, the Pub across the street, one of best in Quebec !
Cons: Too much to mention, dirty, puke in bathroom, floors filthy, small towels not replaced...would never be allowed in any campus ....
Location: Univ of Laval just outside downtown Quebec (city), great connections by bus, the Pub had great food and beers, the cafeteria had the worst food ever
Loved location, bus connections...price terrific..BUT pavillon (dorm) was consisently dirty...very...puke in the men's restroom...floors filthy...never, ever been allowed on any US campus dorms, especially trying to impress future students or parents..doubt much will be done for fall semester...Apparently no administrative care or desire to improve since they must get all stds they need without clean, caring, or attratice facilities...
