Great experience, wonderful staff.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I stayed at Loews Le Concorde with my husband and two children for three nights. The room was very clean and comfortable, my only complaint was the size of the beds, doubles not queens, other than that the room was great, although a little cramped once we added a cot for my 12 year old son. Contrary to other reviews, the elevators, although being replaced, were still working and the delays were not significant. The renovations did result in a power outage to our room however, the Hotel moved us immediately and provided us with complimentary breakfast coupons and free parking as compensation for the disruption which more than made up for the minor inconvenience.

Great location, excellent staff. The rooms are very outdated and old, we got upgraded to a suite (very spacious room with a very nice view) but the room is in need of a lots of love, wish they invest in renovations, the hotel has the potential and they have an incredible staff.

The hotel needs to close and do a major renovation. Room was a dump, mattress was soft, most likely very old. Crusty stains on the sofa, paint chips all over on the desk, no clock on the nightstand, 2 extension cords to connect to the outlet that did not work, desk lamp not working properly, soap in the bathroom the size of a candy ... And those “wood” floors! Really tacky. Overall experience was not good considering past stays there were good experiences. Service was extremely slow at Ciel restaurant ( more than 1 hour to get first course after we ordered)

Nice hotel close to town and park

Pros: Excellent service, location and Ciel revolving restaurant.
Location: Walking distance to part and town.
Had a wonderful stay at the hotel Le Concorde before boarding the Princess cruise. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. We enjoyed the fantastic view of Quebec city while having our delicious lunch at the revolving Ciel restaurant on the top floor.

Convenient, but disappointing

Pros: Convenience to the Old City and on-site parking
Cons: The parking elevator, AC/heating units in the room, fitness center equipment and appearance, and an overall general cleaning/upgrading to the facility
Location: Very close walking to the Old City, lots of restaurants, parks, downtown, etc.
This hotel was very close to the Old City with on site parking and had good reviews, so we decided to stay there. The staff was great and very friendly, but the overall amenities and lodging were disappointing. The first thing we noticed was on the elevator from the parking garage to the lobby - there was an odd smell and the floor was dirty. We were upgraded to a room overlooking the Old City (which was nice), but the room was a little outdated, not very clean and the AC/heating unit was old and very dirty (so dirty that we didn't turn it on even though the room was chilly). The room was decent and the beds comfortable, but there were a lot of signs of aging (AC unit, dust under the beds, rust/mildew in the bathrooms on the edges of the floor and tub, etc.). I also tried to use the fitness center, but there were only 4 weights of dumbbells and a few machines with rust on the metal equipment since it was in the same area as the pool. It didn't make the fitness area appealing and reflected on the overall view of the hotel. We got a great rate and it was a very convenient location, but I would not stay there again.

Needs a lot more remodeling

We picked this hotel since description said 'newly remodeled'. That was only partially true. The floor was a newer replacement with wood laminate. The bed looked nice but was uncomfortable. The rest of the furniture was mismatched, like it came from a hotel yard sale. Everything seemed dirty, but we soon realized it was stained but probably clean. We had to keep the curtains open the entire trip, since the few lamps in the room did not provide any light. Also bought souvenir flashlights to supplement. Overall it was clean enough but we would never stay there again.

Check out the view!

Pros: We were on the 14th floor and the view was amazing! The rooms were also a nice size.
Cons: The bathroom shower tiles showed a little mold, the lighting in the bathroom was too dim.
Location: Walkable to Old Quebec, which has the most amazing unique shops and wonderful places to eat, unique creperies, the citedal and the beautiful promenade
This hotel was a little dated but nice. The location is fantastic, right on the beginning of what we called "restaurant row" where there is outdoor seating and events going on. It is walkable to all of old Quebec.
