The beach and boardwalk are 2 blocks away. The staff is very helpful. There are many dining and shopping options nearby. The restaurant at the hotel is very overpriced. The room and amenities were very good!

The cleaning service was poor, they did not replace toilet paper what’s was not enough, the did not replace towels. Also the mattress was horrible and old. The front desk staff was good when I checked in but the next day staff was rude and did. It tried to help me and my wife at all. So finally I had to get another hotel reservation and the Windsor plaza did not refund me at all. The are that this hotel is located is very dangerous and I’ve never seen so many ugly people on the square feet in my home life. I lot of homeless around. I did not felt my sect and my family safe at all. It was a shame. Well if you are looking for a nice stay and good treatment DON’T STAY AT WINDSOR PLAZA HOTEL.

5 min walk to Copacabana Beach. Near lots of stores and restaurants. You can book tours directly through the hotel and they make it super easy for you. The bar and pool on the roof has a great view of the beach. Rooms and a bit outdated but it was a quick overnight stay so it wasn’t a big deal.

The location was great as it’s just two blocks away from the beach and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was decent and most of the staff was very nice. They even helped fix my suitcase handle which was greatly appreciated. The property itself is outdated. I wasn’t expecting luxury, just clean. The have a rooftop with a small pool that looked much bigger in photos. Once I was finally in my room, I noticed the shower head was rusted over and there was mold in every corner of the shower. Maintenance laughed it off and a front desk rep didn’t see it as an issue, “just old”. They just caulked over the mold, but with clear caulk so you can see it was never removed. I asked about a late check out since my flight was departing late in the evening, but was told that I had to request it at check in. I wasn’t aware and since you literally cannot check in before 3pm, I was just exhausted after waiting in the lobby for 5 hours. I was told that I could check on the morning of and pay $75 for a 6pm check out, but I passed. I really had no desire to give them more of my money.

Staff was good and excellent response to issues. Clean. Good restaurant inside. Problem was wifi cut out often so dropped calls and had access to internet issues. I was able to pay for a 6 hour late check out fir one of my two rooms.

The staff was amazing! They were accommodating with the language barrier. The room was not like the pictures, there was black mold everywhere, there was mold under the refrigerator too. The walls are paper thin.

This hotel was amazing! I was nervous after booking it as i saw a lot of bad reviews. The rooms were clean, the staff was amazing and the location is perfect! Carlos at the front desk upgraded our room and made check in a breeze. The roof top pool is also amazing. I definitely would recommend this hotel.
