Campanella is a one bedroom apartment on the fourth floor of a historic building close to Castel Sant’Angelo, the river Tiber, Piazza Navona and Via dei Coronari. A rare occurrence for a block this old, you can count on an elevator, before it there are 20 steps.

Past the entrance, this property is in the predominant tones of white, cream and wood, with wooden floors in a minimalistic space. The bedroom is on your right and features a classic French bed (please note that this is smaller than your average double bed) and a wardrobe - you won't need to worry about storing your clothes and luggage!

The recently renovated bathroom is equipped with a shower and washing machine, for all of your laundry needs.

In the living/dining room a sofa turns into a comfortable double bed, which makes this space perfect for a small family or two couples of friends. Behind it, a wall-mounted kitchenette has all the essentials to fix up a quick meal including pots and crockery, a fridge with a small freezer space, a gas-fired oven and microwave oven, as well as a toaster and moka coffee pot.

The flat relies on independent heating and is equipped with both A/C (in the living/dining room) and a romantic ceiling fan (in the bedroom): just leave the door to the bedroom open and the apartment will be perfectly cool! A WI-FI connection is offered free of charge to all guests and a smart TV system will help you keep up to date with the offerings from your favorite streaming services!

L'emplacement est exceptionnel! PrÚs de tout , restos, attractions, boutiques , bus.....Par contre la propreté laissait un peu à désirer, la couette du lit avait un rond jaune, planchers sales.De plus léger manque d'équipement tel que essuie tout ou torchon, savon à vaisselle.Et l'air climatisée ne fournit pas du tout.HÎte trÚs réactif aux messages

Appartement agréable trÚs bien situé

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour. L'appartement est trĂšs bien situĂ©, nous avons presque tout fait Ă  pieds, mĂȘme avec des enfants (7 et 10 ans) : proche du meilleur glacier de Rome, de la place Navona, du PanthĂ©on... nous avons seulement pris le bus pour le ColisĂ©e et le forum. L'appartement est fonctionnel et bien Ă©quipĂ©. Le gros bĂ©mol : la literie du salon. Vraiment inconfortable, mon mari et moi avons trĂšs mal dormi les 4 nuits. Le lit grince dĂšs qu'on bouge, mĂȘme trĂšs peu... En rĂ©sumĂ©, appartement idĂ©al Ă  2 ! Bon sĂ©jour !

Appartement bien situé mais vétuste

L’appartement est bien situĂ©, Ă  moins de 10 minutes de la piazza Navona et c’est lĂ  son plus grand avantage. L’intĂ©rieur est ancien comme beaucoup de logements Ă  Rome, vĂ©tuste, il n’y a pas de fenĂȘtre extĂ©rieure dans la chambre et il n’est pas bien isolĂ©. La salle de bain est trĂšs correcte. Nous avons eu une coupure d’électricitĂ© durant 14h et aucun geste n’a Ă©tĂ© fait de la part de l’agence. Le rapport qualitĂ© prix est cher au global et le service client aurait pu ĂȘtre plus comprĂ©hensif mais il est l’image beaucoup d’italiens dans cette (magnifique) ville : si on peut gagner de l’argent sur le dos de quelques touristes alors pourquoi s’en priver ?

Superbe location pour découvrir Rome

Appartement gĂ©nial pour dĂ©couvrir Rome. Tout peut se faire Ă  pied (Vatican, centre historique et mĂȘme le ColisĂ©e n’est qu’à 40min Ă  pied). Le quartier est super Ă©galement pour ses restaurants (Campo del Firori Ă  moins de 10min Ă  pied) et ses services (supermarchĂ©, pharmacie et mĂȘme dĂ©pose bagages bien utile pour le dernier jour). L’appartement Ă©tait super propre, agrĂ©able (chambre sur l’arriĂšre donc trĂšs calme pour dormir) et trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. Les Ă©changes avec l’agence de location Ă©tait trĂšs facile : merci Ă  Sara qui nous a bien aidĂ© pour les rĂ©servations des transferts aĂ©roport-appartement et la procĂ©dure de Check-in et Check-out super simple grĂące aux vidĂ©os envoyĂ©es avant. Top sĂ©jour. Nous recommandons sans rĂ©serve ce lieu ;)

On the surface yes but once we had a problem(no heat or hot water) had little compassion or to get it rectified until the office open next day at 10. Kept talking about cost of turning the heat up when we requested, once they got it fixs 15 hours later. It is obvious the the unit is managed by a third party, so much different than our experience with the 3 places we stayed at thru Virbo.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Check-in was amazing, a video was included that made it very clear and easy. The apartment is equipped with all ammenities one could want. Bedding, towels, toilet, and shower were very clean which is huge for us (my wife has OCD about cleanliness). The host was very kind and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect, plenty of very good restaurants and cafes nearby. Walking distance to the vatican and trevi fountain.This was our first time in Rome and this apartment really made it special for us. Wish we could have stayed longer, highly recommend this place.

Great location in central Rome. Lots of restaurants, shopping within short walking distance. Generally comfortable. There is an elevator, but you have to walk up a floor to get to it. Kitchen is fairly well equipped. Shower is ok, but fairly small.

Check-in process was very easy and straightforward. Location was insane!! We were in the middle of the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican. Local shops and restaurants were amazing too! We had some issues with the air conditioning but those were resolved the second day by the owner of the property. The toilet seat was broken and we had some trouble with the shower doors.

Bare minimum.

The pictures and amenities are accurate to the listing, and the location is 10/10, but everything else sucks. Don’t stay here.- Hardest thinnest mattress I’ve ever slept on, sheets were clean but mattress itself was dirty- Only window in bedroom opens to the internal stairwell- The A/C is positioned across the entire apt from the bedroom, so it never dropped below 80 in the bedroom, stayed in high 70s closer to the A/C- Walls are scuffed and dirty - Couch was stained with unknown fluids and the pull out mattress was gross- Black mold behind the toilet in bathroom- No dryer or drying rack for the washing machine, so I had to use a few chairs and the bathroom towel warmer to dry the clothes- Speaking of the towel warmer it was seemingly never cleaned before so I had to really wash it thoroughly before hanging my clothes on it.- The building itself is dirty and has trash in the hall.

A wonderful retreat in the heart of the city

I loved staying in this apartment. It is convenient to all the major attractions either on foot or public transport (I walked everywhere). The apartment has everything you need including laundry, which in the summer heat is a must! The booking process was so easy and the hosts were immediately available if there was a question. I will actually be staying there again at the tail end of my trip to Italy and I am very happy I made that choice. I highly recommend this Vrbo!

A cute little 1 BR apt right in the centre of town. Close to many attractions, shopping and restaurants. The apt was comfortable and welcoming and provided everything we needed for a 3 day stay. While it’s in the centre of town, it’s on the 4th floor and one can not hear noise at night.

Central to everything

This property is very centrally located and the host made check in very easy. The kitchen is fairly well equipped although we only used a teapot and a few glasses. The property is pretty spacious for two people the interior could use a good painting and we felt the bed was very firm and not very comfortable. The shower lacks any substantial water pressure and it is really a tight squeeze to take a shower, and we are not very large people. I would suggest that more than two towels be left for guests as we found the towels did not dry overnight. The a/c was used with marginal benefits, it was in the upper 70’s when we were there. I’m not sure how it would hand really hot temperatures Overall a nice apartment in a great lication

Great Location! Sufficient, but nothing fancy.

Great location. Close to everything and within walking distance of most sites. The main bedroom is small, which wasn't really a problem because we didn't spend our time indoors. The couch (as a couch) was not comfortable, old, and warn. I can't imagine sleeping on it. Also, it wasn't mentioned in the ad/description that you have to walk up quite a few sets of stairs to get to it. Luckily, we were capable! (We also discovered an elevator a couple days into our stay.)The team that runs the VRBO is FANTASTIC! Replied promptly to questions/requests/needs. They were reliable. They communicated well. They were there to help when needed. Loved working with them.

Location, location, location

The apartment’s location is ideally situated to access major tourist sites, restaurants, grocery stores, shops, and public transportation. There is even a spot to stash your bags on the block if you arrived too early for check in. It’s not a fussy place, and has all the essentials I needed for a pleasant 5-day stay.
