Residenza dei Banchi Nuovi is located on the ground floor of the beautiful building dated 1500th of the Banco di Santo Spirito, the ancient seat of the papal mint used for the minting of 'Giulii' Vatican coins.

Mauvaise surprise

TrĂšs bon contact avec le propriĂ©taire tant que tout allait bien. Mais le jour oĂč j'ai demandĂ© le remboursement des frais de mĂ©nages qui n'Ă©taient pas prĂ©vu dans le devis initial, je n'avais plus de nouvelles de la part du propriĂ©taire. Par l'intermĂ©diaire de l'Abritel j'ai appris que ces frais de mĂ©nage Ă©taient indiquĂ©s en tout petit en bas de la description (ce qui est faux, je n'ai rien vu de tel) mais Ă  partir de maintenant ces frais seraient plus visibles sur le site. Bref, j'attends toujours le remboursement... Quant Ă  l'appartement, il est bien mais je le dĂ©conseille fortement en Ă©tĂ© car sans la climatisation, on a eu trĂšs, trĂšs chaud.

Appartement agréable vraiment trÚs bien situé. On visite Rome à pied. Propre bien organisé pour 3 un peu juste pour faire la cuisine. Je retournerai dans cet appartement. Alessandro trÚs bien pour donner des conseils judicieux et trÚs disponible .

Joli appartement, trĂšs bien rĂ©novĂ©, trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. IdĂ©alement placĂ© pour visiter Rome, proche de la place Saint-Pierre, du Vatican, de la place Navona. Beaucoup de lignes de bus Ă  proximitĂ© et de restaurants. Pour les personnes sensibles aux bruits urbains, des boules quies peuvent ĂȘtre utiles (mĂȘme si l'appartement est dans une rue piĂ©tonne, plutĂŽt calme). Alessandro est trĂšs accueillant et donne de bonnes conseils.

Situation géographique idéale, nous avons fait toutes nos visites à pieds . L appartement correspond parfaitement aux photos, trÚs propre... juste à titre préventif, prévoir des boules quies si , comme nous, vous venez de la campagne et donc pas habitués aux nuisances urbaines, mais cela n à pas gùché notre séjour.. Notre hÎte est serviable et met à notre disposition ses bons conseils Nous retourneront sûrement à Rome et ce sera chez Alessandro

This apartment was perfect for my family of 3 (me, my wife, teenaged son). The location was ideal: a short walk to the Vatican (the Castel Sant’Angelo is literally at the end of the block) and also to the Pantheon and other sights, but it is a little separate from the tourist crush. We loved wandering the narrow cobblestoned streets around the house and discovered lots a cool boutiques, restaurants and wine bars within walking distance. (Giulio Passami L’Olio around the corner was particularly nice for a glass of wine.) Alessandro was a lovely host and made sure we had everything we needed (and even gave us some advice on how to get to the Lazio match). He booked us a taxi to the airport when we left to make sure we had a stress free departure. I look forward to recommending this as a place to stay when my friends ask for travel recommendations for Rome in the future. We had such a lovely stay!

Die Lage des Apartments ist perfekt! Wir haben keine öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nutzen mĂŒssen. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann die wichtigsten SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichen. 50m die Straße runter haben wir das Beste FrĂŒhstĂŒck gehabt (Bar Amore). Super lecker, sehr gĂŒnstig und netter Service. Alessandro war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns sehr geholfen. Er hatte ein offenes Ohr fĂŒr Fragen. Das GepĂ€ck könnten wir kostenlos bis zum Abflug bei ihm im BĂŒro (GepĂ€ckdepot) lassen. Es hat einfach alles perfekt und reibungslos geklappt. Eine bessere Unterkunft hĂ€tten wir nicht haben können. Vielen Dank dafĂŒr! Grazie mille Alessandro!

Great but hot

Lovely historical apartment in great location! Close to many attractions. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars overall is because it did not have air conditioning. With Rome being so hot in the summer, we did not have the best sleeps during our stay. Everything else was great. Would highly recommend during cooler seasons.

Great location

Alessandro was very kind and the apartment was very quaint, but with summer heat and no air conditioning, we couldn’t do it. There’s a reason Rome mandates hotels to have air conditioning May-Oct and this was an oversight on my part. We had to leave after one night and book a hotel.

Great location. We felt very safe even walking back at midnight from a soccer match. Apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our favorite sandwiches was just across the street La Salumeria. Easy check in and out. Great host communication! Highly recommend.

Perfect stay in amazing location

We have just returned from a short stay at Alessandro's beautiful apartment.The property is perfectly located at a comfortable walking distance for all must see attractions in central Rome, and only a few minutes' stroll from Castel Sant'Angelo.We found everything we needed for a few nights away, and Alessandro was extremely helpful and easily contactable for any questions we had.Thank you Alessandro.. a fantastic apartment and a fantastic host. Location, location

Had a fabulous stay in the heart of the action. The apartment was steps away from shops, restaurants and sites. The apartment itself was roomy enough for a couple and adult child. The main floor has a table, chairs and kitchen.There is a set of narrow and winding stairs to get up to the bedrooms and bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom updated and modern. The twin bedroom is through the bathroom and does not have a door to close off. Alessandro was a great host. He answered all questions before and during our stay. Would definitely chose to stay again when in Rome!
