Sweet retreat in the woods

Our little cabin had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Host Frank is very warm and welcoming and gave us a helpful overview of his beautiful property. We enjoyed hiking and swimming and access to the region. The lake is lovely! Next time we’ll hope for better weather to enjoy it more. Just two things in our cabin that could be fixed: the bedroom has a strong mildew odour from damp; it would be great if the laundry line was on the sunny side of the cabin, as it is not possible to dry anything in the current shady location. A la prochaine!

Nous avons passĂ© un agrĂ©able sĂ©jour dans le chalet Le Manitou. Le chalet est gĂ©nĂ©ralement bien Ă©quipĂ© pour cuisiner. L'espace est fonctionnel. Le chalet isolĂ© nous a apportĂ© de la tranquillitĂ©. Les sentiers de randonnĂ©e auraient pu ĂȘtre amĂ©nagĂ©s davantage afin d'ĂȘtre plus pratiquables en temps de pluie. Le paysage y Ă©tait cependant magnifique. L'information offerte sur Vrbo Ă©tait incomplĂšte. Il a fallu consulter le site Internet pour savoir ce que nous devions apporter. Aucun message de l'hĂŽte nous avait Ă©tĂ© envoyĂ© avant le dĂ©but de notre sĂ©jour pour nous indiquer les directives d'arrivĂ©e, mais suite Ă  un message de ma part, le propriĂ©taire m'a rappelĂ©e rapidement et a rĂ©pondu Ă  mes questions efficacement. Nous avons trouvĂ© que les heures de dĂ©part Ă©taient tĂŽt (10h). Nous recommandons cet endroit pour dĂ©crocher et se reposer.

Une fin de semaine calme et reposante, une belle balade en forĂȘt malgrĂ© la saison "entre-deux". L'attrait principal pour nous Ă©tait la proximitĂ© au spa des chutes de Bolton, mais nous reviendrons probablement avec les enfants en hiver afin de profiter des activitĂ©s en plein air!
