Breakfast was great! Our double queen size rooms were very spacious. The bathroom was on the smaller side…even though no AC was present, the fan was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely premises. We enjoyed the clean, spacious room, common recreational spaces, fire pit, and breakfast. It was a relaxed and quiet stay. We at at Joe's restaurant right next door for dinner! It's a short 20 minute walk to the Manhattan beach!

Enjoyed our stay at the lodge. Check in was great with a friendly staff. Older place but is kept up well. Has a nice charm feel. Didn’t realize there was no air conditioning but opening up the patio door and front door cooled the room down nicely. Would stay here again.

The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view. The staff was attentive. Breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausage, and various breads/pastries. The highlight was the waffle maker. Plenty of parking. Beautiful patio. We would come here again.

Really unfriendly check-in host. Checking in was a negative experience, it felt like I was "burdening" the host by asking questions. When I told the host the room had a strong smell she offered an annoyed "it's probably the fire place we don't have other rooms". Overall, it gave the whole experience a negative vibe. I travel often, I understand people can be tired and stressed but having a warm welcoming staff should be a minimal expectation.
