Welcome to your stylish mid-century modern inspired Ballard Bungalow. Close to local coffee shops, gourmet provisions, and charming pubs. This spacious 2 bed, 1 bath home is ideally suited for 4 guests (up to 6 max). Enjoy the comforts of home with a fully fenced backyard with Hot Tub, ideal for kids and your furry friends (one-time pet fee applies). Relax in a vibrant neighborhood, explore nearby attractions, and make lasting memories in this cozy retreat. Your perfect family getaway awaits.

We want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and will be happy to provide recommendations or assistance. Unless you need us, you’ll have your privacy.

Ballard is an award winning urban village that has been referred to as Seattle's Brooklyn. This street level bungalow is minutes from some of Seattle's best micro-breweries, eclectic food trucks, historic Ballard avenue and Woodland Park Zoo.

You'll have the entire Ballard Bungalow to yourself. The bungalow is located just down the hill from Phinney Ridge. Enjoy easy walking access to many restaurants, bars and shops just blocks away from your front door. Downtown Ballard is just a few minutes by car and you will find wonderful restaurants for eat in or take away. Easily accessible to Green Lake, Phinney Ridge boutiques on Greenwood Ave and Woodland Park Zoo.

Downtown Seattle and all the best tourist locations are only 20 minutes away making this spot an ideal home base. If you prefer public transportation, it's a short walk to the major bus routes to head south to downtown or north to Everett.

Parking: Guests must park on the street. Free street parking is available. It's usually easy to find a spot in front of the house or close by. The driveway is available for luggage drop off or loading as needed.

Steps- Guests must climb one step from sidewalk to walkway then three steps from walkway up to the front porch and door. In the rear of the bungalow there are 5 steps down to the backyard.

The backyard has a patio with gas grill and hot tub for guests to enjoy. Note that the backyard is a shared space with the host. When guests are using the hot tub, they will have their privacy.

- Fully Equipped Kitchen: Including stainless steel appliances and all the tools you'll need to cook amazing meals.

- Coffee Station: Start your Seattle experience with delicious local coffee and assorted teas provided in our well-equipped coffee station. Features include a gooseneck hot water kettle, conical burr grinder, Bodum pour over, French press, and programmable drip coffee maker.

- Spacious Dining Area: The dining table expands to seat up to 8 people, perfect for gathering together for meals or spreading out and using it as a second workstation.

- Outdoor Entertainment: Relax in the fenced rear yard with a BBQ and outdoor dining table and seating, ideal for enjoying your meals al fresco.

- Comfortable Living Space: Unwind in the living room with comfortable seating and a 65" UHD fire TV equipped with Amazon Prime Video (streaming only). You can also access your own streaming accounts; Netflix, Apple, HBO, etc.

- 15 minute walk to the famous Woodland Park Zoo as well as the Phinney Ridge area dining, coffee shops and boutiques.

Work from home using the workspace provided including high speed Wi-Fi (150+ mbps).

Plenty of USB device charging spots located throughout the space including the bedrooms.

The bathroom has a heated tile floor with separate shower and bathtub. We provide premium shampoo and body wash.

Laundry room: Full size LG front load washer and dryer stack.

Both bedrooms have queen size luxury green tea infused MEDIUM-FIRM memory foam mattresses with soft 3" memory foam toppers, gel foam pillows and soft bed linens.

The Ballard Bungalow is a completely smoking free space.

The bus stop, with many of the main routes North & South, is located one block away.

Co-host Shimon lives in the apartment below and shares use of the backyard amenities only. When guests are using the hot tub, they will have their privacy.

Comfortable house in a fun, walkable neighborhood. Check in was easy and we had no trouble finding street parking close by. We like to cook and found the kitchen well laid out and well stocked with cookware and tableware. We ran out of paper towels and had some trouble with one of the stove knobs. The owner was very responsive and helpful. You'll find good restaurants nearby (we enjoyed Sabine) and cool shops (check out Push/Pull and Monster). One caveat: The second bathroom is literally filled with a large washer and dryer. Don't plan on adults using the toilet, because there simply isn't room to sit down.

Great place close to everything. Parking was convenient and felt very safe. Nice neighborhood. Large living space for friends or family to gather. Big kitchen with high quality appliances and dishware. We stayed a week and ate in/cooked many times with no problem. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and of good quality. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Ballard.

Exactly what we needed in Seattle

Spent a week in Seattle visiting family and brought the dog. This location is a short drive to great trails for the pup and lots of good restaurants and grocery stores, love the coop nearby. Everything is exactly as advertised and well stocked, especially the kitchen. Hot tub is added bonus. A very comfortable stay and Jeff was very accommodating to our schedule change. Highly recommend!

Ballard Family Visit

Property was comfortable, clean, quiet, uncluttered and well appointed. Good stock of kitchen supplies and basic condiments. Multiple good quality coffee/tea options. Traveling with a 93 year old I especially appreciated four steps up to the house from the street and a single level floor plan. Not the place for a rollicking young person’s party weekend, but perfect for a quiet stay. I would definitely rent again.

Great place and area

The perfect place for us!

Can’t say enough about this place. My husband and I and our little 8 lb poodle stayed here for a month for both business and pleasure. The place was perfect. Clean, comfortable, fantastic beds (we both got the best nights sleep). Lots of extra bedding for cold nights and soft blankets to snuggle up on the couch together and watch all sorts of stuff on the extra large big screen TV. A roomy kitchen to cook in, with everything we needed. Plenty of Wi-Fi space for business and pleasure. Fantastic bath and shower. Great location. We walked all over the friendly neighborhood. Nearby restaurants, bars, coffee - try out MAINSTAY for the yummy breakfast sandwiches. Plus a small convenience store not even a block away with great beer and a massive burger and fries. Jeff and Shimon are the perfect hosts. The check in and check out were super easy and they were not intrusive at all, but quickly responded if we had questions or needs. And if you’re a dog lover and bring your pup, your dog will feel as welcomed as you do. We will definitely be back.
