This is a nice property but not nearly a 10. The view of the trees is great but there is really no view of the lake. The house is cozy but the kitchen and living spaces are small. Upon entering there is an overwhelming musty smell presumably from the steam room in the downstairs bathroom.

Very responsive and friendly host. Amazing home! The hot tub, steam shower, pool- it is literally your very own spa!!! Chef’s kitchen appliances make cooking fun. A gorgeous living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and peek-a-boo views of Lake Washington and the beautiful green trees. The photos don’t do it justice!

We were disappointed. We did not find this to be a 10/10 property. The rooms were clean, but the property was not. From cigarette butts on the deck railing to dog toys on the back yard tables to pool toys too dirty to use. Three of the 4 bedrooms are on the lower level, which smelled very musty. It would have been helpful to have s book of instructions to help you with the idiosyncrasies of the property, such as the door locks. We were surprised there was an additional dwelling unit in the back yard which was occupied. All that said, it was a great location for us. The soaking tub was very nice. The view of the yard from the living room makes you feel in the woods. It's only a few hundred steps to Lake Washington (which isn't actually visible from the house).

Lovely Stay!

We very much enjoyed our experience at this Seward Park gem! The home highlights and features were exactly as pictured/described, yet more enjoyable in person. The pool and hot tub were particular favorites of ours. Just as described, we were able to watch local bald eagles right in the back yard. The location was perfect for us visiting friends in the Mt. Baker/Columbia City neighborhoods and a relatively easy trip to the proper downtown Seattle area. Lake Washington is right at the end of the street. Parking was ample. Communication was friendly & timely. Recommended!

A little bit of luxury

My daughter and I came to run the half marathon, which started at Seward Park. Our family came to support us (hence the 7 bedroom place). This house was 0.9 miles from the start line. A perfect warm-up walk to the start line. The run along the ocean (every part of the run was less than a mile from this house, even though the entire run was 13.1 miles!). It was a cold wet run along the ocean, but we had a hot tub to end it. It also had laundry facilities (important to wash our wet clothing after the run) and a great kitchen, and living room with big wide windows. Honestly, I cannot describe how wonderful this house was for a group of people who just want some luxury, as well as nice walks and runs along the edge of the ocean. The check-in was super easy. We also took public transport down to Pike Place Market for a day which was very easy to do.
