"Good things first: This is a great location to walk to plenty of restaurants, get food delivered, and the beach is just steps from your room. The restaurant on site had delicious food and relatively friendly staff.
The bad or mediocre: Our AC barely worked and the staff offered no explanation other than ‘we are working on it’ for five days. Sleeping in an 80 degree room isn’t the best on your honeymoon.
Trying to get in-room dining/room service seemingly was impossible. We tried every number including the front desk (at 7 PM) with no answer or being rerouted.
There is no ice in this place - unless you beg the front desk to bring you some.
The beach is tremendous, but at $22/day for umbrellas, it’s a bit steep. They also lowered your umbrellas if the wind hits 10mph. They did this to me mere moments after putting up the umbrella and refused to give me a refund even though I paid for the day and used it for less than 20 minutes. It’s this ‘nickel and dining’ that got old really fast. With how much we were spending on food and drinks I would have expected a little more service or understanding.
The room: the room is tiny. Very small. The bed is comfortable and the view is nice but even as a skinny person, I couldn’t shut the bathroom door if I wanted to get dressed. And there was hardly luke warm water. The TV’s cable also did not work.
Good: food, pool was okay, lovely beach access
Bad: room size, staff, AC, access to amenities, bathroom size, etc"
