Just north of the hotel was extremely ghetto and lots of police. I would not feel safe walking alone or at night.

Great experience
Awesome customer service. Great location and literally right on the beach. Walking distance to some really great restaurants and shops. Definitely will stay there again!!

Perfect Vacation
Pros:Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We stayed for eight nights at this hotel. Everything was absolutely perfect.
The place was beautiful and spotlessly clean.
The location could not have been better--within easy walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants, but away from the noisy bars and discos. The hotel is right on the beach, making it easy to go back and forth between beach and pool.
The staff members here are really friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable. A special shout out to Stewart the engineer, Jiselle and Rocky the pool attendants, and Richard and Carlos on the front desk. There were many others whose names I did not know but who were also great, including the young man who worked on the beach.
Unlike most of the other hotels on Miami Beach, the Savoy does not play loud music at the pool. It is thus perfect for relaxing and swimming.
The rooms were beautiful, more like apartments than conventional hotel rooms. The room attendants did a great job of cleaning every day, with all of the right finishing touches.
Nearby is Lummus Park, great for strolling and people watching. One of Miami Beach's bike rental stations, where you can insert a credit card and rent a bike pretty cheaply, was very close by.
Needless to say, we will be back.

Enjoyed my my stay
Pros:Close restaurants, bed was comfortable
I really enjoyed my stay at the Savoy. The staff was very accomendating. They were very catering to our need. We had a group of six and they made it possible for us to have joining rooms.

wonderful hotel, wonderful location
Pros:Close restaurants, Quiet, private beach, trendy and friendly
My boyfriend and I had such a great experience at this hotel.. The lobby looks really nice and trendy.. As soon as we got there, we were helped with our bags.. They have two nice pools and private access to the beach which offers two chairs, two towels, and an umbrella.. The rooms were nice and clean.. It had one of the most comfortable beds.. Breakfast was delicious.. Very helpful, friendly, and attentive staff.. The location is in a quieter area of ocean avenue, but in walking distance to all the fun bars and restaurants.. Totally recommend this hotel!

Great Time
Pros:Close restaurants, rooms big & clean, heated pool, direct access to beach, good location
I Planned a trip for five of us girls to South Beach for my best-friends bachelorette party. I was Unsure where to stay and we were on a budgit. This by far is perfect for the Price, Location and Beach!!! The rooms were Big & Clean. The hotel was walking distance to great bars and food! We loved it. The hotel staff was amazing! They treated us with respect! The bartenders can make really good drinks. The pool was heated and direct access to the beach. We were a bit loud which we got some complaints but I think that would have happen anywhere... Overall I would 100% stay again. Thank you Savory Hotel for being understanding and overall good service.
