Large RENOVATED 6 bedroom 5 bath private home with LOTS of space!

The Mackall House is a spacious fully-remodeled six bedroom home with two primary suites, five full baths, and two half baths! There are two kitchens, a huge common area, and a large game room downstairs. This is the perfect place for wedding parties, large family gatherings, corporate retreats, special event lodging or if you just want a quiet getaway with lots of outdoor activities close by! The two primary suites on opposite ends of the house offer guests privacy during their stay. The kitchen, dining table and living area are an open concept, where families can enjoy quality time, surrounded by a fireplace, large TV, and lots of natural light! If you need some time to get work done, there is a private office and free WiFi throughout the house. Downstairs you will find a game room with a shuffleboard and foosball table. The large back deck is the perfect place to sip on your morning coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. The Mackall house is located just 0.3 miles from Jefferson Patterson Park, which features nature trails, kayak launching, tours, and many special events throughout the year. Running Hare winery is about 20 minutes away, and the Perigeaux Vineyard is less than 2 miles away! Cage stables and Rose Farm stables are just right down the street. If you are looking to go into the city, Washington DC and Annapolis are just about an hour away! Historic Solomon's Island is a quick 20 minute drive, and there you can walk the boardwalk and grab dinner at one of the many amazing restaurants, or catch a special event at the famous Calvert Marine Museum. Vera's White Sands Beachclub is 9 miles away, and there you can enjoy the tiki bar, live music events, and great seafood.

Spacious close to a Preserve

The Property itself was great! We would definitely come again. We were a group of 9 Senior Women that traveled down for an event, that ended up being further than expected. However the house was totally on point for the price & every one in the group loved it & the space and kitchen! The host was an excellent communicator.

Ice was really bad. Two of our ladies fell.

The water was stinky it was sulfur. After a shower we stunk. No top sheets on twin beds. Not enough toilet paper or dishwasher shop. We should have been told to bring extra. Not sure if we will stay again. We will meet and let you know.

Family Early Thanksgiving Celebration

This was our third year celebrating our family Thanksgiving in this home. Three generations coming from three different states. Location offers an easy drive for everyone, and the home is large enough for us spread out yet gather for meals. Great location for a family, four generations from 3 different states. Two floors, two kitchens. Lots of space to prepare meals and spread out. Close to a delightful park where the children can run an play and the adults can work off some calories. Second year at this location and the home reflected its use. For our taste a more through cleaning is needed.

House with all you need

We enjoyed our stay as the house had the bedrooms and bathrooms needed for three families. The area was very quiet and not too far from commercial areas to buy food and supplies. When the coffee maker stopped working, they manager had a new one delivered within hours, which was very nice.

Overall a good sized home for big groups. More than enough bathrooms and bedrooms. Some minor updates needed, could use a few more kitchen tools and change old ones. To be fair, the manager said she would consider my suggestions. A few other recommendations on maintenance suggested to owner/house manager. Thank you!

Holiday Paradise

Our family stayed here for the holidays. The host set up a Christmas tree and other decorations for us prior to our stay which was amazing. The property is massive, beautiful, and comfortably accommodated our large group. The host was responsive, caring, and thoughtful throughout our entire stay. Everything you need is at the property from cooking utensils to entertainment including a full sized shuffle board and pool table. The location is beautiful as well, as it is near the park that is right on the water, which I highly recommend visiting. The house is located far enough away for the privacy that you would want, but close enough to stores and restaurants for any of your needs. I would highly recommend this house and we will surely be coming back to stay here again. It was the perfect holiday getaway. 10 out of 10!

Thanksgiving family celebration, four generations from 3 states.

Large spacious home with multiple gathering spaces and ample bedrooms and baths. Conveniently located to Jefferson Patterson Park offering a great place for a family outing. The home and location were enjoyed by all and we hope to return.
