This is an older property. Unit is clean but older and on the outskirts of town, not much in walking distance. They do have restaurants on sight and staff was friendly.

Love this historic hotel. Love their art collection. Great beds. Noticed that the R.C. Gorman prints in the room need some TLC (repositioning the art in mats under glass). Hole in the back of the bathroom door where it apparently hit the toilet roll holder. Also the wood on the second floor walkways in the courtyard king area, some boards are spongy.

Nice property with good restaurant and bar.

Had a nice stay. The rooms are sizeable with a fair price. Conveniently located 3.5 miles to the downtown area. Liked the fact that there was a restaurant and bar on site with live entertainment. The food was very good as well.

The outdoor lights very, very poor when we arrived at 9pm. There were bugs in our room. We were led to believe breakfast would be included. It was not. The bookkeeper was attentive and respectful to my complaints! The lady at desk didn't respond to our concerns.

I was looking forward to a good soak in the hot tub after a long day driving. The water was lukewarm and not inviting. A hot shower in my room was better than the hot tub. I was disappointed that coffee was served in a building adjacent. I did not like that. Maybe I read the property profile incorrectly, but I was under the impression that a breakfast was included. Instead, a breakfast was "available" next door if you purchase it. I did not have time for a sit down pricey meal, something I could grab and go was what I expected. The room was clean and in good shape but the hallways inside looked beat up and run down. The carpets need to be cleaned and stretched by a professional. I guess I was expecting a lot more for the price.

I just cannot believe the price we paid for this property. I understand that it is Taos. I understand an older property. But it was rough. Smelled old. And for that price? The people sounded like they were going to fall through the ceiling. The fridge was so loud! The toilet just filled and filled and my husband had to take the lid off to flush and it was ghetto wired. Again… I understand it is an older property… older town… but the price was outrageous!
