Beautiful 3/2 Designer Home, WiFi, golf cart and 40 executive golf courses

The Villages is an active Senior Community for residents 55yrs+ as well as a golf community.

Our guest pass gives you access to The Villages’ 40 executive golf courses. Our home is located between Nancy Lopez CC & Arnold Palmer CC, just a short cart ride away.

Dance the night away to live entertainment every night at one of the three Villages town squares 365 nights a year from 5:00 to 9:00 pm, with happy hour from 5:00 to 6:00.

This spacious, fully-furnished, and beautifully-decorated home is ideally located between Spanish Springs town square and Lake Sumter Landing town square.

Our included guest pass gives you access to the recreation centers and swimming pools, where you can play pickle ball, tennis, bocce ball, shuffleboard, horseshoes, card games and billiards and more.

Recreation centers, pools, restaurants, grocery and retail stores, movie theaters, bowling alleys, golf courses, and libraries are within easy walking and/or golf cart distance.

Disney World, Kennedy Space Center, beaches, and other major popular attractions are only 1 and 1/2 hours away by car.

Our home features a master bedroom with a king sized bed, a large walk-in closet and a master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and plenty of closet space and the 3rd bedroom has a pull out sofa bed and closet as well. It is fully furnished with an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make yourself at home including a microwave, coffee maker, dishes & utensils. The kitchen island provides seating for three and the dining room provides seating for four.

For lunch & dinner enjoy your meals outside in the screened Lanai. After a day of golf or one of the many other activities The Villages offers, relax in your screened Lanai and enjoy the outdoor living you came to Florida for.

The two car garage comfortably houses your vehicle and our complimentary two seater gas golf cart. The laundry room is conveniently located inside the residence.

All linens, pillows and towels, everything that you need is there. Starting supply of household requirements is provided, (dishwasher & clothes washer detergent, coffee filters, paper towels. garbage bags and recycle bags, bathroom soap and toilet tissue.

Nice place but...

It is a nice place in a great area but the 36 golf courses in not free like they say in line. You will need to pay the temporairy resident card for 50$ us if you want to play free executive golf courses. So I spended my time to talk with the owner to explain how to get the temporairy card because they have to fill a form. They didn't want to pay the 50$ US.

We felt like we were staying at a motel. The house was dated, in was need of repair, but somewhat clean. There were many items broken that we communicated and took pictures of. When we arrived, the tv wasn't providing many channels and had to call the owner. They came out and the male owner was trying to set it up. The female owner went into the car and yelling at the male to hurry up because she had an apptointment. My wife was embarresed for him so she said she would figure it out, so he left. I would not rent the house again or from her.

Very poor communication. Tried to reach our host multiple times for our pool passes and a wifi password. No response until our passes showed up two days after we arrived, and left under the doormat. By that time the weather had gotten cold and the opportunity to swim with other family members, staying in The Villages, had passed. We never did receive a wifi password and finally found it on top of the refrigerator with other information and instructions about the house. Not exactly the first place one would look when renting a home. The home was comfortable, but it does need some repairs. Door knobs were coming off of cupboards, screens were torn on the garage, etc. The home also needs some basic supplies. No complete set of measuring cups/spoons, no pepper, no wine opener, etc. Overall our stay was okay, but it could have been so much better with the help of the host.

House was exactly as in the pictures. Mrs. Barbara was great with communication and when I messaged her letting her know that keurig was not working when we got there she came straight over and brought brand new one along with the guest passes for the villages facilities. We were in town for the birth of my 4th grandchild and they had no problem with the other children visiting and had plenty of room. I had a great stay would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for the hospitality Mrs. Barbara.

We stayed here for a family wedding in Oxford. The location was a straight shot which was key for us. It's a cute little house with a nice layout. It could use a little cosmetic updating and the sofa bed definitely needs to be replaced. But overall has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Also really nice to have the screened in dining area for morning coffee.

Needs Improvement

The bathrooms are old and tired and in need of renovation. There is no reason for a rusty sink and shower accessories in a home that is rented at this price. The kitchen is also lacking. Not enough silverware and the frying pans were old when I was still young. New cookware is desperately needed. Lastly, living room furniture is very dated.

Short Villages Stay

we were there just a short time giving a baby shower for my granddaughter. There was shrubbery in front that was overgrown and covering a portion of the sidewalk to front door that we had to walk around to unload and load car. Doesn't seem like much but it was an annoyance. We did not have time but anyone staying for a visit would not sit on furniture on front porch as it was pretty rusted. Toilet holder is master bath was broken off and porcelain in masterbath was chipped in several places and grab handle in shower was chipped up. Was very clean but did have a cockroach in master bath that we chased around. Some type of map showing where pools were located would have helped also. Just little things that might make this home a little more enjoyable.
