The room is extremely small and the washroom has a sewage smell, which was unbearable after a few days. I also think providing cleaning service once every seven days is not enough, especially in such a tight space. Maintaining the cleanliness becomes difficult.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tokyu Stay Tsukiji. The location is super convenient โ€“ just a 5-minute walk to Hibiya Line Tsukiji Station, and only 7 stops to Ueno (for Skyliner to Narita Airport) with no transfers. Higashi-Ginza is walkable, and Ginza is just two stops away. The room has a balcony facing Tsukiji Market, offering a nice glimpse of the market atmosphere. Itโ€™s very quiet, especially at night, and perfect for longer stays. The room has a washing machine with dryer (very quiet), induction stove, microwave, a larger fridge with freezer, and a Refa hair dryer โ€“ my hair was super smooth! I also loved being able to heat my milk and bread for breakfast each morning. Check-out is a breeze with the machine, taking about 30 seconds. The room was clean, though the hotel has a slightly dated feel, so those looking for modern dรฉcor might be disappointed. The hotel has no restaurant, but there are many nearby, especially sushi places. Minor drawbacks: I feel the room was just right for one person (I had an 18mยฒ room) but might be tight for two. The elevator area on the first floor is near a smoking room, so sensitive guests might notice some smoke. Overall, I loved the location and amenities, and Iโ€™d stay here again on my next Tokyo trip.

The staff was very courteous, professional, and helpful. The hotel, sadly, reeks of cigarette smoke far beyond the smoking room. The old smoke smell permeates the elevators and hallways. There was a cockroach in our bed and on the last night, I received an insect bite while sleeping. The hotel location is convenient for those wanting the Tsukiji Outer Market experience, as well as a Ginza experience. There should be a mandatory room cleaning after every three days rather than six or more. We first stayed at a Tokyu Stay in Kyoto a few years again. Granted, it was a new facility then, and we had an excellent overall experience. Tokyu Stay Tsukiji needs a facelift and cigarette smoke must be far better controlled. The washer/dryer combination machine is greatly appreciated, as is the refrigerator/freezer unit which almost three times the size of a typical hotel sized unit. If not for these amenities, I could not recommend this hotel for the price. Again, I commend the hotel staff for their superb service. ใฉใ†ใ‚‚ใ‚ใ‚ŠใŒใจใ†ใ”ใ–ใ„ใพใ—ใŸใ€‚
