"The Red Barn"
Escape the hectic city with a relaxing country getaway in the adorable red barn home! You will have access to 340 acre Burroughs Park with playgrounds, a fishing lake, hiking and biking trails, soccer and baseball fields and a dog park for your furry friends who are always welcome at the Red Barn.

Located minutes from the trendy yet quaint community of old town Tomball where you can shop antiques and boutiques, experience the rich food culture and take a stroll through the weekend farmers market! Drive a little further into Tomball and take in a movie at the Showboat Drive-In Theater!
If you prefer more traditional entertainment head to the Woodlands for shopping at the mall, Market Street or get a bite to eat at the upscale restaurants. Enjoy a concert at the Cynthia Woods-Mitchell Pavilion.
The Red Barn is not far from Houston, The Woodlands, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, Cypress Premium Outlets, the Texas Renaissance Festival and only three miles from Boxwood Manor wedding venue.
Hosted with Texas southern hospitality, this home is sure to provide all the things you need to enjoy your stay!

The space
"The Red Barn" is a traditional gambrel metal barn on the outside and a cozy 2 story, 3 bedroom home decorated with a farmhouse flair and modern amenities on the inside.

The modern farmhouse kitchen is stocked with everything you will need! Dinnerware, pots and pans, baking sheets, cutlery, cooking oil, spices, crockpot, toaster, blender, kettle, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker and more.

The home features 3 smart TVs. One in the Living room, one in the downstairs bedroom and one in the game room.

The Bedrooms:

Downstairs Queen Room
This room features a queen size bed, TV, and double doors opening to the back patio where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee while you take in the views of chickens and cows in the neighboring pasture. The on-suite bathroom features a large decorative tiled shower with rainfall shower head, and 2 farmhouse style vanities.

UPSTAIRS QUEEN BEDROOM
With traditional farmhouse styling, this room features a queen size bed and boasts beautiful views of the pastoral setting.

THE BUNK BEDROOM
This room features a twin loft bed over a convertable queen bed beneath.

THE GAMEROOM
The large gameroom features a ping pong table, board games, a sitting area with couch and TV, a designated work space and a 2 player gaming system with 3,000 vintage and traditional games including Pac Man, Galaga, Super Mario Brothers, Street Fighter and many others!

THE OUTDOOR SPACE
Relax and unwind in one of the 2 rocking chairs as you take in a breathtaking sunset over the fields and watch the cows and horses roam. Your pets and small children will enjoy the fenced in backyard with unobscured views of the surrounding landscape. Enjoy a game of horseshoes, cornhole, giant jenga or roast some smores around the firepit with family and friends.
There is a private driveway with ample parking for 4+ cars.

Perfect escape for a quick getaway. The barn was so charming with thoughtful decor. The space was well-designed—clean, comfortable, and cozy, with plenty of space for our group of 4 adults. The host was responsive and welcoming, and the entire check-in/check-out process was seamless. This place truly felt like a retreat, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

The home was in great condition and ideal for our stay with a fully fenced in yard for our dogs. The kitchen was large and allowed us to cook our meals and have quiet evenings. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and equipment.

We loved the country feel all around us - cows, chickens, horses, and dogs - while having the convenience of being close to town. Though we didn't travel with pets on this trip, the privately fenced yard would be ideal for guests with dogs. Our two sons loved the ping-pong table arcade! Overall, this was a great place for a family getaway.

Little Red Barn

The property is located on large acreage lots outside of Tomball. The house was surprisingly spacious. We brought our dog with us and the fences in backyard was ideal for that. It was nice to see chicken and cows every morning!

Quiet, quaint house and neighborhood

Overall the home was clean, the fridge could have been cleaned a little better. Would have benefited from a few additional items such as more blankets, and full length mirrors behind the closet doors or just in the bedrooms. Felt very safe here, nice neighborhood, quit and close to town. Would definitely recommend the property.

The Farm Life

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The only complaint was the bed frames maybe could be updated to not be so squeaky. But the interaction with the cows and the bulls was fantastic. The house was super clean. The property manager was actually probably the best part of all of it. Due to a miscommunication, he came to the property and was gracious and kind. .

Great Place For Our Family

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend for the holiday and a wedding in the area. It was perfect for our family, especially the kids! They loved the animals outside, and having the entire upstairs to themselves. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The only thing I can think to suggest would be a full length mirror somewhere. Really can't say enough good things about the place.

The Amazing Red Barn

First off, the communication with the hosts was amazing: swift and encouraging. We were staying for Renaissance Festival, and I mentioned this would possibly be an annual thing. The excitement and positivity from the very first message was absolutely contagious. We had all the details prior to arriving, which made check in seamless. The touch of kind well wishes for our travel also went a long way. The barn itself is spacious, well-stocked and very homey. It’s out in the country, but it is close to everything you want and need. It was perfect for our stay. And again, the hosts were there when and if we needed them, even keeping us positive in not so amazing weather. The photos do not do this place justice. It was well-appointed and delightfully comfortable for our entire party. We will definitely be booking for next year and hopefully many after. Give this wonderful place a chance; you won’t regret it. And eat at Pecos one night. It’s close and delicious.

Great Place

I rented this location because it was convenient enough to the Texas Renaissance Festival and wasn't extremely expensive. We knew we would only be there for sleep and showers. It's rural, quiet, and a beautiful property. The house was great. Bigger than expected. One bedroom, bath, living room and kitchen downstairs; 2 bedrooms, bath, living area with gaming station and ping pong upstairs. The only issue was hot water. There wasn't enough. When the shower was going on upstairs and I went to take my shower downstairs, I only got cold water. Everything else was great. My only suggestion is to have a full length mirror somewhere (maybe to hang on a bathroom door). I would definitely stay here again.

Adorable barnhouse tucked away amongst nature. Home was clean and spacious.. game room was a hit with all the family. Owners were friendly and very hospitable. Definitely will be staying here again on our next trip!

We are locals, but wanted a place to have my daughter's 18th birthday celebration with friends where her little brothers wouldn't pester the girls. This was the perfect place. The hosts were so easy and accommodating and the property was beautiful.

Quiet Getaway

The property is well maintained and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful Red barn home much needed since we lost a loved one. Perfect for EVERYONE

We had a group of 8 adults staying for a weekend. This house was great. From my parents in their 70s two couples ranging from their 30s-50s and two teen boys absolutely everyone stated that this deserved 5stars across the board. I was worried about it being too small but it never felt cramped. The teen boys enjoyed the ping-pong table and video games, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the property and the rocking chairs on the porch. I cooked several times in the kitchen and it had everything you could possibly need. The area/neighborhood is quite rural feel but you are still very close to town. The owner was so nice and easy to reach if we needed anything but they contacted me prior to check in and provided enough information that we never needed to reach out. I can not recommend this place enough.

this barn is so adorable and the host was very communicative and accommodating! hosted a groups of 7 here and had a great time! we loved the cows/ animals and the property was very well maintained. boards games and ping pong table were a great touch - would definitely recommend!
