The hotel is in a good place, however an update is truly required. Rooms are old, dirty and outdated. Plumbing requires specific directions (i.e twisting with force to get the shower on). My specific room has rotted cabinets, corroding wall corners, and paper thin walls. We could hear our neighbors conversation (a family with children) word for word. It scared us because it sounded so clear, you would think they were in the same room. The view was amazing but other than that, this hotel really requires a reset.

The staff was courteous, but the toilet ran intermittently throughout the night, the closet mirror was cracked, I could clearly hear conversations from the guests staying next door due to the thin walls, and the decor was dark and outdated. For the one night I stayed at 208.00, the best part was the lake view.

There was a conference going on when I stayed there. It was extremely busy. Someone left their dog in their room next to us and it barked constantly for hours. I called the front desk multiple times to complain. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs, but it was impossible to sleep. Eventually (after ~2 hours) they gave me the key to a new room and we packed our stuff and moved. So that wasn’t great. However, to their credit they contacted Expedia and refunded me for one entire night and it was applied rather quickly.

The room 1021 bed kept squeaking with every move I made. There was no clock or microwave in the room. The front desk would not honor my breakfast that was included with my reservation stating it didn’t show up in their system so I had to pay out of pocket.

The room was spacious and the AC worked great! The beds were comfortable. The view was spectacular and the location was spot on. However the room was a little outdated and the water in the shower would not drain right away. There was plenty of parking, there’s a sign that says park at your own risk but they charge for parking. Parking was only $9 after tax it was about $10… compared to other hotels in the area this is a 4 star hotel.
