The hotel grounds are green and well-kept, but my 6-day stay was awful and I would never return or recommend this place. On the first night, I found a huge cockroach in my room, and the balcony wall was covered in mold. The next day, I cut my foot badly in their pool on sharp edges left by missing tiles. Blood was everywhere. At the hotel medical office, I was told to pay $100 just to see a doctor. A paramedic eventually gave me a very basic treatment and said even waterproof bandages had to be purchased. The hotel reluctantly provided some and called it “compensation.” Noise was a constant issue. The third night, we were woken at 4 a.m. by a loud party across the hall. It took staff almost an hour to calm things down. On day four, workers started cutting tiles with a loud machine at 9 a.m. right outside our room. On day five, a lawn mower woke us up early. On day six, staff shouting and banging in the hallway woke us again. This is not what a relaxing resort should be. The food was terrible — meat was always dry and salty, and the buffet had nothing appetizing. To make matters worse, on our first day the hotel wasted an entire morning trying to sell us an overpriced “premium membership,” sending five different staff to pressure us. I’ve visited Cancun many times with great experiences, but this hotel was by far the worst. Completely not worth it.

Property views were acceptable. Resort credits are a joke. They’re very specific in what they can be used on. Extremely misleading. Airport transfers were also very suspect, not very accommodating. Facility was nice. Expensive for anything not included in the all inclusive parameters. Would go again with more knowledge of what is expected of them and what’s expected of me.
