Ok the good! Staff, property, pools, drinks, food was really good no real complaints not 5 star but a good 4 star. Also best water pressure and hot water in mexico anywhere!! The not so good. Our jr suite was smal, double beds that make a king or you can decide them a foot or so for 2 beds. Oh and my back still hurts from the mattress, they give you 2 small pillows per bed not near enough. The water in the shower, although great pressure and hot water, I can tell it’s well water and has a sulfur smell.

The resort staff was excellent. They were all courteous and helpful. There were 3 members of the staff who stood out to us. The best staff member was Miguel. He ran the RIU fit classes. We looked forward to attending Miguel's stretch classes every morning. He was always cheerful, friendly and approachable. Miguel was the main reason why we enjoyed our stay. Outside of RIU fit activities, he was always checking in with us to see how we were doing and help us out. The second person was Alonso. He ran many of the RIU fun activities while we were there, especially the volleyball. Alonso was always able to keep the activity going and seemed to have a good time with everything he did. Finally, the best waitress we had by far the whole time was Catalina. She was always looking out for us, and on top of it, the whole. time. The resort itself was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. This is, hands down, the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. If you're looking for paradise, this is it. The only suggestion would be a few more interactive activities, but that didn't take away from the enjoyment we had. The only problem we had was the room. The A/C struggled to keep up the last 2 days we were there. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. If anyone moved in bed, the other person knew it, even if it was a small movement. If you have someone that is sensitive to their partner shifting in bed, I highly recommend having separate beds.

I love the all inclusive with only adults allowed. you have peaceful quiet vacation without someone's children running around, screaming, crying and slimy boogies coming out of his nose. The food is awesome and the nightly shows are funny.I love them.

All of my family were (which we are all over 70 years old) Bumped to the hotel rui Cancun where our rooms were right above the party pool/bar-and entertainment center. Had to call security twice regarding fights in the room next door and room parties until 430 am vomit found in halls and elevators. Our transport back to the airport on the day we were to leave was never transferred to the rui Cancun so my husband and I had to walk from the hotel rui Cancun to the hotel Américas with our luggage. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the way we were treated by the hotel and its counter staff. We booked the rui Américas because we had stayed there last year in 2025 and were very happy with the service but with the bump the staff were very rude and not helpful. I personal was very upset due to bringing my family and having the hotel treat us this way. We were looking forward to a very relaxing vacation and in turn received a new challenge every day. The staff at the rui Cancun especially ast manager Rene Martin was very sorry for our inconvenience he also gave us the email to complain to the hotel rui. Personally I would not have booked with Expedia nor will ever again if I had known that a numb was possible.

There's not a bad thing to say. Most remarkable employees and well staffed. Entire facility is impeccably clean. Attention to detail everywhere. Great variety of entertainment.

I visited Riu Resort in Cancun, Mexico, and the experience was absolutely amazing. Everything was excellent — from the cleanliness and comfort to the organization and overall service. The food was delicious and very diverse, with many great options to choose from. I highly recommend this resort to anyone planning to visit Cancun. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, especially RIGO and MIRNA who work in the restaurants. They provided outstanding service, were very kind, and made us feel welcome every time. Thank you to them and to the entire hotel team for such a wonderful experience. I will definitely come back again!

The room and hotel overall is super clean. The staff and a courteous attentive and happy. Angel our server in the Italian restaurant was exceptional!
