Grounds were excellent. Lots to do. Size was very manageable. The locations of restaurants and bars were perfect. The entertainment staff by Paco was outstanding. The food was just ok. The best restaurant was the Meditarrian place. The asian, mexican, and seafood restaurants were just OK.

We are happy to read your stay was very enjoyable but we are sorry to read about the elevator, we already check our maintenance reports and no mayor injurie is reported, is important to mention, elevators are machines and sometimes machines protect it selves because a low power or even the rain cause this minimal situations, but those are fixed right away. We appreciate your review, and we hope to see you soon on a near future.

It’s an amazing relaxing atmosphere. Modern architecture, staff was amazing. There were slight language barriers but it wasn’t bad. Upgrade to the Serenity Level, it’s completely worth it.

I love the look and the cleanliness of the hotel. But the staff is ruth and the hotel is bored there is nothing to do besides the pool, the beach is dirty and have a lot of waves. The hotel is far from all the majority of the attractions and we have to pay a lot of money in transportation for that reason, just to get out of the hotel it's like 10 minutes.

This Resort is very nice. The service isn't as helpful as we would have found at other resorts but we figured out our own way around certain problems that we were having, such as food and where to find it. The buffet was closed on Tues & Wed so our options were limited other than the room service. They never did find me the nachos and salsa that I had repeatedly asked for. Oh well, we just waited until morning to eat.No big deal right? This is the reason that I did not give the Haven a 5 star rating.

We have traveled many places and have stayed at lots of five star all inclusive, butler service resorts (Iberostar Grand Properties, etc)...we felt extremely let down by Haven. We upgraded to Serenity Club, there aren't any benefits besides the Serenity Lounge and access to Vistas--not worth the additional cost. Our "butler" escorted us to our room upon check in and we didn't see him again--everywhere else we have stayed with butler service,the butlers have been readily available, even checking in with us to ensure we didn't need anything...we asked about having sparkling wine delivered to our room the morning after check in only to be told that it would be an additional $100 charge. We have never been charged any "extra" for anything at other all inclusive resorts. The service or lack there of was disappointing. The property is beautiful and very well kept. We made it to the beach a couple of times, the water was nice and the beach was well maintained also. On our last day there we encountered a few truly helpful staff members who were extremely helpful and attentive. Marilu was absolutely amazing and so friendly!! She made the experience so much better! We met JC at the top pool bar, he was fantastic!! Their level of service is what we have experienced elsewhere and felt like 5 star service. I hope that someone takes the time to commend them for making our trip a better experience. This resort will not make the "revisit" list for us...disappointed.

My room smell like smoke and the staff stated there was no smoking in the rooms. They decided to transfer me to a different room where the sheets had blood stains. I asked the front desk to have all of the sheets change and they did not do what asked. The food was not good and the drinks were water down like they were rationing the alcohol. Please note I don’t really drink and just wanted a decent drink.
