The staff were fantastically friendly and very helpful. The pools were perfect temperature. The staff playing games around the pool were so much fun. I ate so much food. Will go again!

We have been to this resort 6 times in the past six years and we absolutely love it! No complaints here and as matter of fact we just came back from our 10 day vacation at R.P. Las Americas and there is something we would like to say about their cookouts… we miss the cookouts they used to have on Wednesdays and Saturdays… the cookouts were excellent!!! Please bring them back!

When I first checked in they had mold in my room and the room wasnt clean stains on the pillow cases and sheets then they moved me to another room. That room had views to the ocean. After my 3rd day there I noticed 2 water bugs that came out of the power sockets in my room above the mini fridge.

First time in Cancun & absolutely loved it. The Riu was more than i expected. I'm already planning another trip soon. The food was good and fresh. The all day buffet had a ton of options. My room was very clean. My bathroom had a slight odor due to the minerals in the water, a bit of a sulfur smell but not a big deal.

Rooms are hot! Food is hit or miss! Drink service is horrible! Pool closes too early! Supposed to be an adult only resort and beach but kids come over from the neighboring resorts! And so many peddlers on the beach!

Compared to other all inclusive properties in Cancun & Bahamas, this was my least favorite. Myself & the other 11 people with me, shared my feelings. The majority of the staff was not friendly, the room was warm, gym equipment was in bad shape & the gym was too small, room service was substandard, too limited on items brought into the room, our checkin wasn’t until 3:30 due to our room not being ready, only one brand of wine served, the beach was too small & very rocky, etc. We were very disappointed with our stay.

RIU is one of favorite resorts to stay. It’s in the middle of everything. Staff is great resort is always clean. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a getaway

Property was nice, staff were nice when it come to service overall, however, bartenders, some of them were kinda slow, or didnt know how to make a variety of drinks. Also, theres no real parties on the property, u go to the other resort for the party on the shuttle which aint too bad.
