Just returned from a quick 4 night couples get away. I’ve stayed at many all inclusive resorts and this is one of my favorite. Very clean, staff was very friendly. Food was good. We really liked the tacos and the burger truck near the beach as an option other than the buffet for lunch. The only restaurant we did was the Japanese because it’s the only one you can make a reservation.. it was decent. We golfed multiple times, golf course is pristine and we saw a few crocs! We definitely plan on coming back!

Everything was all top notch! Staff, amenities, quality of food and drink, and transportation services between airport were also flawless. If I had to have a criticism, it would be the restaurant reservation policy. We were a larger group, we chose Iberostar for a family wedding, many of our group paid extra for upgraded rooms, but yet when we wanted to add 2 late additions to our party, and showed up at restaurant, we were told “no, a couple people must leave.” I’ve been in the hospitality industry, and you never ask guests to leave. Especially due to the size of a group. Instead of treating it like a problem, treat it as an opportunity and be accommodating, someway, somehow! Especially when an adjacent table had space available. It was embarrassing for those who stayed as well as those who were asked to leave. That’s unfortunate, and disappointing. Hopefully a remedy can be made for future larger groups to avoid guests feeling bad about something that should have had a simple accommodating solution to. Outside of this, the rest of our stay was enjoyable!

Clean room, friendly staff. The only thing is not alot of places to eat for breakfast or lunch. Also they need to have reservations of all the dinner restaurant. Got out on waitlist for the steak house at 6pm and didn't get a notification till 9

The pool was too cold. Too many families with children using the hot tub, even though there is a pool designated for children with slides and activities, families would bring groups of children into the hot tub with bags of toys and even blow-up swim rings.

We enjoyed our stay at Iberostar Cancun very much. We stayed at Family Suite on 9th floor. It is a unit at the end of the floor with ocean view and spacious terrace. It was spectacular! -- it feels brand new, ultra-modern, super spacious (958 sqft). Extremely clean with very comfortable beds. We enjoy every minute staying in the suite. The resort is beautiful, well maintained, all staff work very hard and are very nice. Food are good, but very little Asian food.
