The property is very outdated and worn out. Supposedly they are closing for a full renovation, which they need. The food was less than desirable as well. The staff however, were great! Everyone we encountered was kind, helpful and wonderful.

I wish I could give higher than five stars for the Rui Palace Peninsula and our time there. The service was amazing. The food was amazing. There was plenty of different options for entertainment. There are no bad room views, they are all incredible. It was impressively clean. Several different pool options, the beach was amazing and clean, and everyone was so nice. We will definitely be returning. The value to price could not be beat. Food choices were incredible, and there were no long waits at any of the different restaurants. I only wish the mattresses were a little softer. I would recommend this resort to any and all my family and friends.

The room and the hotel were excellent. Everything was very well maintained, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. However, I believe they should add more pool tables and offer them free of charge. It feels inappropriate that in such a beautiful and exclusive hotel you have to pay $3 for each game of pool. For this reason, I am unable to give it 5 stars.

Expedia, My lady and I had a wonderful time at the RIU Peninsula Resort. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable.
