I cannot imagine a better value. For this price, we couldn't get a hotel in Chicago with free breakfast cereal, yet at Cancun Bay we got clean rooms, fresh bedding and towels, comfortable beds, all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-booze, fun sports and other activities, multiple pools, and great staff. The sushi is very good and a great way to let your kids experiment with sushi without breaking the bank. Restaurant food is very good, but not for everyone. They serve great salad bar, salad dishes, rice, multiple meat dishes to put on the rice, fajitas at every meal, tons of side dish options, and tons of desert options. Food is healthy and well prepared. But it's not for those who insist on fast food like pizza and chicken nuggets. Some restaurant options are a la carte and you order off a menu. WARNING: Do not beat down the staff by parking your butt at same bar/restaurant day after day and over-eating and over-drinking. Glutons are not given NEARLY as much hospitality. I recommend moving around from bar to bar, restaurant to restaurant. Don't eat/drink at the same place two days in a row. Spread it around, or else they will get tired of seeing you there. And besides, you should be out on excursions and spending your money elsewhere. Yes, they will let you sit at the bar and drink yourself into unconsciousness every day. Yes, they will let you overeat at the same restaurant every meal. But give them a break. Not perfectly clean, cleaner than most US hotels. SAFE!!!

I didn't have hot water the last two days in my shower and no wash rags. I wasn't a fan of the buffet but the restaurant by the pool was really nice. Very nice staff and location. The property was beautiful. I just wish they would have had a variety at the buffet instead of theme nights.

Their amenities are very good, and they are always available because the hotel has a few rooms in comparison to the capacity of these places. All meals were varied, delicious, and well-cooked. It is a true all-inclusive. The pools and the beach area are always clean. I'd love to be back.

We had a great time! The resort was small with only 2 main restaurants and a sushi bar (that was open sometimes). But that was good because you didn’t have to walk far to do anything! The entertainment staff was excellent (headed by Alejandro) and they kept us busy and entertained all day! The wait staff and bar staff also were attentive and pleasant to deal with. Only negative was that there was no hot tub or heated pools. But all you needed to do was participate in the daily beach volleyball game to get hot enough to jump in the refreshing water! Great place!!

Nice property overall. It's a nice mid level hotel. Most of the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was good. Desserts could have been better. Every day the same desserts. Hard, dry and lacking in flavor. Not perfect but good.
