Great resort. Plenty of fun activities if traveling with children. Great night shows. Food is alright. Several dinning options make sure to make a reservation on time exactly at 8am. If not you can always eat dinner at La Palapa which is the main buffet restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. Kid friendly resort.

Check in took 1.5hrs with only a handful of people in front of us. Rooms are outdated and had to switch cracked walls and ceilings, chipped tiles, mirrors have spots on themselves , bathtub paint peeling and very bouncy. some staff service isnt friendly, wifi is weak goes in and out , booking a la carte restaurants is difficult and gets booked fast, will be extremely hard for large groups. noisy with rooms in lobby area, can hear into the room beside. Buffet doesn't offer much options and typical from day to day. Short on towels Beach is great but small for the amount of people Good entertainment but is located in a banquet hall type room. Can get hot Close to the airport Needs a lot of updating.

Room was clean. Staff was mostly good. We had a couple negative experiences. The front desk wasn't very helpful, and one experience with the towel desk, the staff rolled his eyes at me when I said in then past I was able to get more than 2 towels at once. I don't understand why I couldn't get a towel per person. Food was fine. Nothing special but we had everything we needed.

On average people were waiting 3 hours to check in. Two family members got sick from the food. Getting a seat on the beach was impossible. I would go down around 6 AM and all the chairs would be taken up already, with towels, reserving them. Every single time you would go to get a fresh towel. The guy would always say 10-15 more minutes and they would never be more towels. The thing to make dinner reservations would open up at 8 AM and be all filled up by 8:03 AM. I give everybody who works there a 10 out of 10 except for the pool guy with the towels I give him a zero out of 10 because he was also very rude. Also only two working elevators long ways to go up and down.

First, lets start with check in. We arrived day 1 at the time of check-in. It took us over a hour due to there being only one staff member at the desk. When a second person finally came they checked one person in and left yet again leaving one person checking in people. They never went over the amenities. Restaurant reservations open at 0800 in the morning and when I say of your not on the website at 0800 they all get booked up (no one told us this). Getting a beach towel was impossible they were always out, wake up early to get a spot at the pool people reserve them with towels, and good luck getting ketchup. Only thing was good was the steak at the fish restaurant. I do not recommend this resort find somewhere else to go!

We’ve had the worst experience of our lives. First night, we’ve experienced a couple hitting a woman holding a child in the main restaurant. It was terrible and violent. The staff act quick, but still, I had to cover my child’s eyes so he wouldn’t see violence in OUR FIRST HOURS OF VACATION!! Second, the food!!! We noticed that wasn’t that good, not very clean, the staff would mix everything with no gloves and touching other things; we struggled first, but we had to eat, and our entire family was sick of their stomach. We didn’t spend much time there, but was enough time for everyone feel sick and unfortunately have a bad time. We came home sick in the plane, cramping and having diarrhea, it was a sad and horrible experience to start the year. The people working there are very nice and friendly, but we’re sure we ain’t never coming back to this place! I am sure there might be some kind of health surveillance for places that provide food in this quantity that I might be looking to talk about this resort. We’re completely traumatized!! Last: WHY DO YOU GUYS MAKE SUCH BAD FRENCH FRIES?? Why? It’s mainly one thing in the world it such taste good! It tastes terrible!

Mexican Transportation Services were spot on both upon arrival & departure. We arrived @ the resort & first impressions were great. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The room was spectacular & we were right on the beach, 4th floor suite, spectacular! HUGE private patio area w/ a jacuzzi tub even before we entered the actual room. We were very, very happy about the room, cleanliness & the daily attention from housekeeping. Now, it took 2.5 days for us to get a TV remote that actually worked. That was irritating. Had to make multiple requests daily for our mini refrigerator to be stocked w/ beer & water. That was to be done daily w/o hesitation yet we had to inquire daily sometimes multiple inquiries before anything was done to satisfy. The toilet when flushed made a horrific, loud screech. That was never addressed or fixed however, it did flush. Would wake others up if asleep. The two main complaints were the QR code system to make dinner reservations was not working & was told that we needed to go scan the codes outside of each restaurant to make accommodations. I did that but even then, you may or may not get a reservation. The biggest complaint was that I had to go literally sleep on the beach in order to reserve spots for my wife & I under a cabana. Entirely too many people & definitely not enough seating beach side or pool side. We understand that it is high season in Mexico but still should plan accordingly for what you pay & expect to get.

This was the worst resort experience we had ever had. The food was not good and they required a reservation for every single restaurant which you can only do through the app for all of 30 seconds before everything is taken. No reservation, Buffett only. It’s the only resort I’ve ever been to that doesn’t allow you to get top shelf liquor without charging you extra. The room service was also an extra charge, which when booking was advertised as included. The mini fridge was only restocked once during our 8 day stay. When asked for water bottles we were told that maid service does this, then maid service stated room service did it. Then we were told it would be an extra charge to get water bottles. Eventually there was a cart in the hallway and we basically had to beg for water. The room was not very clean upon check in. There was mold in the shower and other areas of the bathroom. The floor had sand all over. Maid service never changed the bag in the trash just emptied it. At check in we waited in line for over an hour and no one greeted us or offered any beverages. Then with our party of 9, 4 separate rooms, but all “VIP” status, we were all told different things about which restaurants we could go to for breakfast. One morning one room was allowed to have breakfast at the La Gallos, the next morning another room was told they didn’t have the correct color of wrist bands. The front desk was not very friendly or helpful. We will not be returning.

If you’re looking for a hotel with all of the traditional amenities decently clean room, buffets, multiple pools and access to the beach then yes this hotel is decent especially traveling with kids. For reference we are a family of 5 with kids 4-7. If you’re not too picky on the quality or variety of food, this hotel is also decent . In terms of burgers and french fries those are available every day at the snack bar and buffet. My kids were very content with that and some carrots. my husband and I on the other hand who are much more particular on our quality and variety of food were very very disappointed by the selection, the buffets, and even the restaurants which you had to make reservations for every day at 8 AM offered. Also, in terms of staff services overall restaurants were slow. The buffet had a line to get seated, and the towels ran out twice and the seating at the pool and beach is very limited. The nightly shows were low budget, but at least they were entertaining. The staff running the shows was always smiling and giving their full 100% commitment. Overall, for the kids, this was enough entertainment to keep them happy. In booking this hotel, there was a price difference between $1000-$2000 in comparison to the hotels in the surrounding area now I truly understand what it means when they say you get what you pay for. We would not return to this particular resort due to the food quality and variety and the service being very slow.

We had a family Thanksgiving trip to Mexico. We booked this hotel. NEVER stay here. The rooms were dirty, bathrooms old and not suited for older customers. Water park was closed, climbing wall was closed, two pools were closed, adult drinks watered down, juice was watered down, elevator was broken and the food was inedible. We had to switch hotels at our cost. We never received a refund from the hotel or Expedia.
