We I’ve stayed at many all inclusive, hotels, all around Mexico. I would say this is a huge resort. The check-in took over two hours. And was a bit disappointed that we were offered an upsell at the time of check-in. The up sale would get us many more restaurants and reservation restaurants to eat at. Without the upsell, we only got two buffet options - one on each side of the resort. And they were the same basically, two reservation options an Italian and a steak and snack food at the pool area. We were able to find things to eat every day, but the buffet food was pretty much the same all the time.We were able to make it into one of the reservation, restaurants, and the f pool was nice. You had to get up very early to get a pool chair. Limited beach chairs.We did get a beach view for our room

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. There was a cockroach in the sports club, and one ran across out balcony. The bathrooms in the sports bar and at the pool were absolutely disgusting. Even as a guy, I went back to the room to go to the bathroom. The food options were limited, and bars didn’t open till 11am so that was also a bummer. I was actually here 13 years ago, and my review was pretty much about the same. Definitely needs an overhaul and make things easier to find and more accessible.

The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so nice and friendly making us feel special! I loved the pool area and the beach access, super convenient. The restaurants are good, but feels everyday was the same menus. Our bedroom was ok, but our mattress was terrible. It had a hole in the middle, making the edges higher and nothing comfortable. One thing that made us super happy was the server Eduardo at the “La Cantina” he was 10/10!! Extremely attentive and even noticed that my fiancé wasn’t feeling good and offer him a tea instead having coffee or juice that would upset his stomach even more. He was awesome!!! I would came back!!

They aggressively tried to sell us membership or time share. They didn't take nonfor an answer. We walked away and they were upset. after we said no all smiles were gone! Before the NO to membership all smiles and we were being followed.

I booked a stay at the Pyramid Hotel this week, but the experience was awful from start to finish. - Reservation chaos: Upon arrival, the Pyramid Hotel could not locate my reservation for four hours. I contacted Expedia for assistance, but they were unable to reach any staff at the Pyramid Hotel to resolve the issue. - Inadequate alternative: After a long delay, Expedia booked me at the Oasis Hotel, a sister property within the same facility. I accepted because I just needed to rest, but there was no clear explanation for the change or proactive help to ensure a smooth transition. - Unacceptable room condition: The Oasis room was filthy. It smelled strongly of mildew, the showers were moldy, there was no hot water, and the toilets wouldn’t flush. To top it off, there was a cockroach infestation. When I reported the problems, staff did not move me to a different room or escalate the issue; instead, someone came with bug spray, which did not resolve the underlying problems. - Noise and safety concerns: The room was near nonstop entertainment—loud music from 10 AM to 11 PM—which defeated the purpose of paying for rest. As a solo female traveler, I also felt unsafe due to a lack of visible security. I requested help from Expedia to move to a different hotel or upgrade to a room with better conditions, even willing to pay more if needed, but my request was denied. I felt stuck in an unsuitable and unsafe. Expedia shame on you.
