My first real vacation since becoming a mom, and I didn’t realize how much I needed it until I arrived. Warm air, the sound of the ocean, and in my swim-out suite—a king bed, deep jetted tub, walk-in shower for two—and a note on the bed: “Breathe, Teri—welcome home to yourself.” I exhaled for the first time in years. Roger, my incredible concierge, made sure every detail was perfect. I woke without alarms, played in the turquoise ocean, lounged on the soft white sand, and sipped cocktails under the sun. Every meal was indulgent—eaten without sharing or jumping up mid-bite. The included 25-minute couples massage was bliss. My only tiny heartbreak? Rock Lobster is only open Wednesdays, and I’d been dreaming of lobster. But the food and drinks were still unforgettable. Four days wasn’t enough. I arrived as a tired mom and left as a woman who remembered herself. Secrets Maroma didn’t just give me a vacation—it gave me back my spark.

This property was amazing! It was immaculately manicured and staff was so kind and helpful. Room was beautiful and they even had 4 pillow choices. Ac worked great and despite high humidity room still smelled fresh. Absolutely everything was included without hidden charges. Long Hyatt club sales pitch but not a bad deal if you travel a lot. Not much night life but if you are looking for the quiet couples time and a beautiful place to read your book, this is the place. We enjoyed all the restaurants but our favorite was Hymatsu. Whether you ordered ala cart or hibachi some of the best Asian food we have had. Best sushi we have had in a long time. Loved that you did not need reservations. Highly recommend!

The overall vacation experience at the restaurants could have been wonderful, but the seating policy was extremely disappointing. We went as a group of 4 couples and were met with slow and non-accomodating hostess. Our request of seating together was simply ignored. Our seating were mostly 4-4 or 4-2-2, which significantly impacted your enjoyment. For a Hyatt franchise, we expect good hospitality and flexibility. This issue must be corrected. It's hard to imagine returning to the facility for vacation.
