We can’t say enough good things about the resort, the incredibly friendly staff. The food was delicious and a large variety to cater to all guests. Our room had a private pool and was a great way to start or unwind at the end of the day. We loved being surrounded by wild life and the beautiful foliage. The coati’s were very entering, but ensure you lock your doors or you will wake up to furry friends like our neighbours lol! The beach was immaculate even during seaweed season. The weather said rain for many days but it never came until our last day which made it a very enjoyable time. The only flaw would be a new ice cream scoop for the buffet lol! Other than that it is truly a 5 star resort and the best of the best.

This resort was beautiful! Despite the renovations, it wasn’t bothersome to us and there were still many activities to do on the property. It was just unfortunate that we couldn’t see the whole resort. Most of the staff were friendly & helpful. Our room was really nice & clean. The buffet was pretty good. The food can get repetitive but thats why you have the a la carte restaurants. We fortunately got reservations at most of them except at Miso Thai. The food was really good, especially at the Le Fleur (fav) and La Haciendas. 2 out of the four reservations we had were late night. It seemed that the later reservations were, the worse the service was. The worst experience we had was at the grill restaurant. We felt very dismissed by our waiter, the wrong orders were brought & the steaks were not cooked properly. On our last night, we got to try the new location for the riviera buffet, which was beautiful! The additions to the food buffet were amazing. I wish we got another day to experience this new location as they had more options and the design was more modern. The drinks were great, although it did taste very watered down at times. The pools were also kept well. Jonathan at the fantasy pool was great! I suggest you join one of his activities (waterpolo or aquafit) at least once! The beach was also beautiful. The seaweed was not as bad as I was expecting. We got to paddleboard & snorkel(free). We were able to see a school of fish close to the shore which was cool!

They are remodeling part of the hotel, but the areas that are open are still pretty big and spacious. The trolly was frequently coming and going which was nice! The main food hall options are limited and average, so definitely recommend making reservations if possible. They have several pools and they are all spread out nicely so it’s not as crowded. The hotel offers limited shuttles that go downtown, however if you stay out late or miss it you will need to get a cab bc the hotel is not at a walkable distance. Also don’t bother doing pre-check in since they still make you check in at the front desk and require all documents.

I have been coming to this hotel for 10 years. I always considered this property as my second home. Unfortunately, this time I was told our VIP privileges were no longer available. We were informed that the army green bracelet, which came with all the VIP privileges was no longer available. We were given the platinum bracelet, but were not upgraded, like we usually do, to the platinum suites. Keep in mind, that we emailed the resort in advance letting them know we would be coming and expecting our usual privileges. The front lobby personnel was rude. Especially Alberto and Angel. The people who saved our vacation and were exceptionally nice were Lupita Conde, Susana at the platinum lobby bar, Daniel at the pool bar. I want to give a special recognition to Leonardo, the platinum concierge. He has excellent people skills and made our experience so much better! He should be promoted and recognized.

Our stay was fantastic. The property is absolutely beautiful!!! Very clean, staff was very attentive and amazing! Pools were so refreshing and the lazy rivers intertwining just went on forever. We loved the swim up bars and of course the wildlife here is off the charts.

The property was under construction so we didn’t have access to the full hotel and amenities. The food was not good at all, and the staff seemed to not want to be there.if I had know this ahead of time about the construction I would not have booked there.

My fiancé and I came here looking for a potential wedding venue. It was nice but a lot of construction right now. Food wasn’t terrible for an all inclusive, they tried their best with the entertainment! The beach was kinda crowded but the Live It excursions were so fun. Shout out to Augustino, Juan and Felipe for working hard to make sure we had a romantic trip!

The staff at this hotel is fantastic. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. They went out of their way to make special meals for both of my children who have dietary restrictions. The property itself is in need of updating. Our room had parts falling off the wall. There was no entertainment and not many amenities available for free I’m Many of the pools were closed due to renovations. However, on the website it said renovations didn’t start until November. The pools were poorly maintained and definitely needed to be updated. It also stinks to have pools that are so shallow and hot and nowhere for the kids to truly swim. Only one swim up bar was open and it was always crowded.

The room TV is in need of a much needed upgrade - Small and reception is very bad. The Ala Carte restaurants need to be a bit consistent and upgraded menu. The Sports Bar needed better, bigger TVs and to be in a larger area as it always crowded and no place to sit/hung out. The daily activities team need to be reviewed and advertised better for guests to feel welcome and get them to participate. Overall, a great place and can't imagine how much more it's going to be with the completion of all the constructions going on.

Was at this resort last year, felt the food options were much better. Hardly any entertainment at the pool. Plenty of wild life which i dont mind. One exception there were roaches in my room! Whether they can control that or not, i really don't care. Will not return.

This hotel doesn't advertise they have raccoons freely wander the property. The restaurants are never opened and your forced to eat buffet everyday all day. And the buffet food was terrible. We had to pay for taxis to leave the hotel and get good food several times, so we did not get the benefit of all inclusive. This drove up the cost of our vacation by $1000.00 and when we complained about it they didn't give us a refund. The staff is either lazy or exhausted or both. Do not be deceived by their pictures and descriptions this hotel is garbage.
