2/10 Terrible

The eco portion of this resort was the best part. It had beautiful walking paths, waterfalls, and a suspension bridge. There was a pond to snorkel in, although the resort only provided life jackets, not masks and snorkels. We had to rent ours from the stand at the beach for $10 US per person. No one we asked could confirm this so we spend our morning walking back and forth from the pond to the beach and back again.
Overall I found the staff to be incredibly rude. When I asked the concierge for a bandaid I was met with a huff and an eye roll. Some staff were, friendly, and accommodating, but overall I felt like a burden and annoyance asking for anything, especially in the sit down restaurants.
The Royal Elite restaurant booked us a 10:00 PM reservation only to play the music so loud at 10:30 PM that we had to leave. They clearly wanted us and the other handful of tables there to leave.
We had a late flight out so we rented a cabana on the beach. We had paid cash to the activities person the day before to book this. Upon checking out we were told that we did not in fact pay, and would need to provide a credit card for this. I argued with the front desk person till we were about to miss our transport, and my husband had to run around the resort to find the person we paid cash to and bring her to the front desk.
The waterslides shown on the cover photo- that we specifically booked this resort for were also closed- we were never notified.
