The room was not what we booked. They tried to out us in a standard room with 2 full size beds when we reserved a king jr. suite. They then told us there were no king rooms available but then after going back to the front desk, after half an hour they “found” the correct room. Check in process is far too long. The food is sub par and the drinks are horrible.

The bedroom mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. The bedrooms were clean & had nice towels. The sand beach is not swimming-able. You have to walk left, cross the street from the resort to find a good swimming beach, once you arrive there you have NO beach chairs or beach services. (you are literally using other resort beach areas, you cannot sit in their chairs). If you walk longer than half mile you find “rental chair option = 55 dollars a day, including some over charged food & drinks (a bottle of water for 11 dollars). The good beach area is full of local people, some begging for money, like homeless people. Different cruises docked in the sea, and they send, by a big boat, tons of people to the “Pear” next to this resort. Right in front of our hotel tons of tourism buses and vans stay there waiting for the cruise people. Two out three a la carte resort restaurants access, are through the street, unsafe during the evenings. But these restaurants, the Mexican & Italian have delicious food & great services. The Positive Part is a laid back resort. Easy going vacation! The snack bar is open 24 hours. Coffee shop is open from early morning to late evening. They have great coffee and, Lidia, is incredible! Nice swimming pool service with amazing waiters. The Brasa, steak restaurant was hot and they turned off the ceiling fans. The Mexican restaurant had a nice outdoor “forest” breeze. The Italian restaurant “Bella” offered option with nice air conditioner or outdoor.

Would stay again but really annoyed by the chair hogs at the pool. Wish they would crack down on them since there aren’t enough chairs when it’s busy. Food was good, rooms are great buy noisy. Beds were very firm but I knew that going in. So convenient to everything and staff is top notch.

Terrible experience. We had no hot water—only one day we were actually able to take a proper shower. Every time we asked about it, staff told us it would be fixed “in two hours,” but it never happened. We were never reimbursed, and when we tried to change hotels after the first day, they refused to refund us. It’s insane to expect guests to stay in these conditions. Unfortunately, I strongly advise never booking this hotel.So regret we have to leave without shower can you imagine this is ridiculous!!!!

The parking situation is awful; there is only paid street parking that requires peso coins plugged into a meter. No one could help us get change and the front desk employees awkwardly laughed at me. We spent 3 hours dealing with parking of a 26 hour stay. Then the parking attendant put a boot on our rental even when we had paid! There was zero assistance from the hotel. We booked dinner reservations but they were not recorded at the restaurant.
