We stayed at Ocean Riviera Paradise in the El Beso adults-only section and overall had a great experience. The resort is a good size — big enough to explore but not so large that you can’t walk everywhere. The property is very clean and well-kept, with lots of wildlife around, which gives it a nice tropical feel. Our room was cleaned daily, and the mini bar was always restocked, which we appreciated.
The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and service at the bars and restaurants was excellent. It never felt overcrowded, which made it easy to relax. There were plenty of dinner options, and we rarely ate at the buffet since the à la carte restaurants were so good. Our favorite was Blue Moon, which had great food for both breakfast and dinner, and the host there was always welcoming.
A big shoutout to Lisandro, our concierge, who went above and beyond. Our mini fridge wasn’t working on the first day, and he got it fixed right away, then surprised us with a bottle of champagne and desserts. He also gave us a helpful checkout tip that saved us time and money at the airport.
A couple of downsides — the beach is quite rocky, and there isn’t much space to relax by the water. Also, there are people around selling excursions and activities, but they’re never pushy and leave you alone if you say no.
Overall, the food, cleanliness, and staff made for a really enjoyable and relaxing stay.
