There was poor communication. They made any request difficult. Gave us different prices for transportation. Or wouldn’t provide us transportation. The resort closed down at 11pm, if you wanted to hang out later then that was not feasible. Pool services were only from 11am-6pm. They wouldn’t let us use the resort amenities until after 11am. The fresh juices were powder base. The main beach was dirty, if you wanted to get to the nicer side of their beach property you have to be exclusive members. And you have to arrange your own transportation.

When we arrived to the room we notice that our AC was not working properly we call the Front Desk and they told us that they were going to send an engineering and just to go to diner. We went back to the room after dinner and the room temperature was still the same we call back and they told us that they couldn’t fix it that we can do a room until the next day. Next day we ask about if we can just get a fan so we don’t have to pack and move and they told us that they don’t have any but we can purchase one from the shop. We ask if they can check to make sure the room AC works before we move and they told us that they will be sending someone but the room will be ready after 3pm. We left the resort we went back at 3:30 to the new room and the AC was not working they send engineering and they told us that it was going to get better with time. We wait and nothing change we were so upset that we did not wanted to call the front desk anymore. All night we were sweating and we’re not able to sleep. Our first we should our family the beautiful resort and thinking going back with all our family and the kids but after this experience I will look for something else.

I was instantly impressed with the quality of my room. Spacious....gorgeous marble floors. Shower was huge and water output was spa-like. I stayed in 4016....first floor “mangrove view”. Although at first I didn’t like the view I came to appreciate the quiet. Food was especially good and showcased appropriately. No lines...no rush...after 10 years of resorts in Mexico....this was a welcome surprise. Waiters were attentive. One thing: why did I have to always ask for salt & pepper?? Very minor quibble. No “saving” beach chairs! Another plus...again no rushing or running....very laid back adult atmosphere. Loved that. Nightly theme shows were good especially the outdoor Mexican fiesta. The beach is the only drawback...as you can’t swim....mixture of black seaweed and rocks. All in all a great, relaxing week surrounded by smiling faces

The property was lovely, well kept and clean. We enjoyed kayaking through the mangroves and biking around the resort. The river flows through the property and ends at the ocean and brings with it all the natural debris. Not ideal for swimming off the beach.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property was clean and welcoming. Food was mediocre. Need more non-water activities. Resort activities could have been promoted better.
